Death doesn't exist

Henry Van Dyke reminds us that "some people are so afraid to die that they never begin to live."  Writers, artists, painters, sculptors, teachers and open thinkers evolve to believe death is one of the most exciting revelations of your life.  What they say and create on Earth reflects this. Are humans are on a cyclical journey to learn to deal with issues they were unable learn?

Deepak Chopra draws from parables he learned during childhood to explain how death as a concept seemed to emerge to temper human desire to crave permanence.  According to Chopra, "death itself was seen as a brief stopping point on an endless soul journey that could turn a peasant into a king and vice versa."  He implies that we leave our earthly bodies at pre-destined times, release emotions, and come back again later in different forms to learn new lessons.

Do we have the possibility of experiencing infinite lifetimes and experiences that invite us into limitless adventures?  Eastern and Western cultures as well as a multitude of religions offer their views in texts.  We exist on different levels of consciousness. We understand different vibrations and frequencies. The underlying consensus is beliefs and perspective determine our experiences. What if we only think we expeirence a three-dimensional world and it really far more complex?

It has been asserted death is a set of phases, or states of becoming re-oriented with heightened awareness.  Heaven and hell are considered self-created illusions that we imagine to reward or punish ourselves for things we have done or not done.  Humans will become astute observers of their finished lives and come to understand what they were supposed to learn and what isn't real.

If, at the core, humans are pure energy, death may be a period where we change form again.  In this case, death would represent a doorway through which we would pass in a kind of transition.  As openings symbolize opportunities, this movement would be a chance to expand and create experiences, a chance to be guided by thoughts, visions and sensations you may have forgotten.

Neale Donald Walsch suggests that in death, hope will actully be the "doorway of belief, belief is the doorway to knowing, knowing is the doorway to creation, and creation is the doorway to experience." And so, hope will determine what you think you know, experience and express.

Unravel spiritual DNA

For scientists, DNA is the acronymn used for DeoxyriboNucleic Acid. Its the genetic material of a cell. Chromosomes that define your individual traits, talents and potential ly inside a cell centre made of DNA. Its very fine and tightly coiled material, and a whole metre may be squashed into a single cell. This is so small that you would be unable to observe it with the naked, human eye.

Optical mapping is a relatively new mathematical model that enables researchers to trace and recreate genomes. This is a modern undertaking to understand not only what we're made of and how we're put together, but also whether we can successfully rebuild and even clone ourselves. Some scientists believe optical mapping will provide cancer biology a faster, more cost-effective tool than normal DNA sequencing. As researchers seek causes of genetic diseases, their views and perception determine what scientific process appears to work, satisfy their curiosity or not.

To unravel spiritual DNA, you wouldn't add new genetic information into existing DNA or recreate what you assume is the map of biochemical DNA. Rather, you would seek to tap into your DNA with your mind and retrieve what you've always known but are not yet consciously aware. You can learn to unravel the knowledge inside yourself and also draw another person's attention to knowledge hidden in them. Unraveling spiritual DNA is supposed to bring you back to yourself.

According to Neale Donald Walsch, "all human beings are born with the wisdom of the universe imprinted on their souls." He explains we have 'Divine Natural Awareness (DNA)' which allows us to tap into things we have always known about ourselves, our purpose and the world around us. Deja-vu may then have evolved because of dormant knowledge and experience at your disposal. As you learn to access what you already know, you redefine memory and selective forgetfulness.

Self-defeating need for profit

In modern worlds, the nature of choices, food, shelter, lifestyle, quality of life, technology, medical drugs and treatment and also perceived basics and luxuries are accessible with money. How much we have determines how much we can spend. Unlimited credit, theft and strategic human connections aside, the quest for profit is key to obtaining these mentioned advantages.

What if all of a sudden, that profit was no longer considered necessary or even a desireable goal? What if survival was no longer dependent on money and economic systems as they exist today? This would undermine systems in place to promote competition and supposed excellence.  This would complicate hierarchies, promotions and systems that promote conflict or antagonism. This would render useless acts which trigger jealousy, greed, lust and other negative emotions.

What if all of a sudden, your situation was no longer yours alone. Your obstacles were shared. In such a case, seeking profit would make you worse off than before. You would likely be motivated differently. Perhaps even thoughts of profit would be punishable or punishment wouldn't exist? Economic systems as they stand and govern would crumble. Power dynamics of the 'have' and 'have not' countries would no longer shape global power or evolution. Society might evolve into chaos or find new reasons to dispute or better still, might coexist more peaceful than ever before.

You against them or yourself?

Who or what do you consider your opponent? Are you not ultimately competing against the core of your own nature?  As you take a closer look at the basis for your values and principles, you will realize this perceived enemy has only ever been an opponent in your mind and grew from there.

What if you aren't really competing against anyone then? What if you simply create the illusion of competition to motivate yourself to raise your own standards?  As far as people are concerned, their behavior may evolve into the role of an opponent which is defined by your deepest fears.  After all, you may be conditioned to feel that everyone needs a role and you aim to shape them.

As your fears take shape, you may sense that something desires to conquer what you stand for.  What if you only imagined your life was a struggle and you also only imagined yourself as victim?  What if each step of your life actually enabled you to gain new insight,  strength and ideas?

Take a moment to consider that you have options to roll with life's punches, to cooperate with people, to embrace events rather than to struggle and compete against it. Consider that you're not required to condemn anyone or anything, seek revenge or retribution. What if learning about your feelings and desire to judge and criticize are all part of a process to learn to rise above it? What if controversy was concocted to provoke arguments and distract you from more meaningful pursuits?

Is being a "kept man" the next big thing?

Are women less desirable to men if they are high-achievers and big income earners at work? Do men prefer subservient woman to the one with career and ambition? Two U.S. studies receiving major media attention say that the answer is yes. Not surprisingly, this "bad news for smart women" scenario led to big headlines. There was a considerable backlash about whether or not the studies portray the widespread truth.

Among evolutionary psychology's truisms:

-Women are by nature coy, modest and monogamous.

-Women with many partners are unnatural, while men are inherently promiscuous. Natural selection instructs men to "spread their seed" widely.

-Women want successful men to provide for them, and older men generally have more resources than younger men. Women would run right past Brad Pitt if he was a struggling actor instead of a rich and famous one, and fall into the arms of a gray-haired but wealthy swain.

-Men lust after very young, baby-faced, presumably fertile women. University of Texas psychologist Davis Buss makes this claim in "The Evolution of Desire," and pop culture revels in this notion.

However, editorial remarks in response to the above claims reveal that high-achieving women aren't necessarily less desirable to men. In fact, many men spoke out publically about how they actually dream of being "kept men" and stay at home dads.  "I'd have no trouble if my female partner took full responsibility for working to support the family," remarked one man.  So the negative or offensive connotation of being taken care of by a woman seems to be fading.

Consider that flexible, modern men would happily hand over the stress and pressure associated with being in charge. They consider themselves more than ready to "share the load." A new trend reveals working men may secretly desire to redefine their lifestyle and priorities. This may be explained by men recognizing a lack of connection to family and especially to their children.

Whether or not being a "kept man" and/or  stay at home dad becomes the next big trend remains to be seen. Traditional assumptions that a stay-at-home dad is necessarily weak and unambitious are no longer as widely believed as they once were. Statistics still reveal more men act in the Western workforce than women and the majority of men still bring home larger paychecks.
