Share your views on Self-Disclosure

Readers are talking about the positive difference the Self-Disclosure: Changes from Within book is making in their lives.  They are sharing lessons they take away and how it affects how they view themselves and the worlds around and within them.  Take a moment to share your impressions.

More good news is the exercises are being expanded into practical workshops and a forum where readers can continue to grow. What would you like to see included in the forthcoming workshops? How is this book empowering you right now?  Why do you sense other people would benefit from reading it?

The whole book is a wonderful workshop, of course.

I might like to see some emphasis on "the priority of the moment." Thank you.

When we talk about something, we can either wind ourselves up in everyday speech, or we can talk through the words and the logic to find ourselves less tangled in our views of life and the world.

Self-Disclosure describes and shows how we can dialogue with ourselves to work out the tensions in our thinking and to release lost feelings trapped in seemingly endless and forgotten circles.

Talk to your Self, so you can finally truly listen to your Self. Its likely that you are the only one who is trying to get your full Attention. The book shows a True and Honest approach to Awakening into this One Moment.

I am so pleased to have the book and look forward to reading it. At the moment events have overtaken me as my uncle suddenly became ill, and is in his last days.

I am sure it is one of those books that will become a firm favourite and will be required reading; once read will be there for dipping into and as I develop my knowledge, and learn my own self-disclosure I'll benefit more and more.

Liara has shared in this book her Self, her curiosity, and her open process of thought and realization, creating a wealth of information and wisdom from her journey of awareness. As we humans seem to learn best from our own experiences and the stories of others, Liara's book of sharing her Self-discoveries serves as a portable, rich, and varied collection of wisdom and stories from which to draw upon. I will often simply pick up her book, open it to a page, and there will be a passage that is perfect for an aspect of life I am in question of. This is a perfect book for taking on a retreat or vacation with a journal and simply engaging in dialogue with it, one's thoughts, and writing down in the journal one's own realizations. Well done Liara!

I tend to experience life with a lot of negativity. This book invites me to step back and see benefits in my own hardships. It helps me listen and trust intuition more. Its the kind of book you can pick up and open to different sections and get something out of it. If you are ready for 'a-ha' moments, willing to open to new ways of thinking, and like journal exercises, this experience is really worthwhile.

I plan to read this book again in more depth. I initially skimmed it and found it very enlightening. This is a book that prompts you to stop and think, be more aware of what you are doing. I am going to go back and work with it myself and recommend it for festive gifts.

The book helps me reframe the emotions and timing of my cancer experience. I choose to recognize that every event is like a test for my wider self-awareness and understanding. The lessons I notice help me reframe what is happening and what I make happen. I already feel healed and know this is but a temporary phase of my physical existence. Each person can learn to trust everything is for the best. The Self-Disclosure book is a reassuring companion for my journey. Love the cover!

As soon as I got a copy of the book, my older daughter borrowed it. I have not seen it since. Hope to get it back soon. She is very engrossed!

What you write about confirms my suspicions about things that are hard to put into words. The supernatural is very real. When the physical senses do not detect or explain things, that does not mean they do not exist. Feelings reveal hidden truth for those ready to accept it.

Consciousness evolves through awareness and experience. These allow us to become conscious through the art of reflection. This is taking the time to ponder the purpose experience serves our life. Then one evolves beyond what the experience is. Awareness is the ability to recognize how a truth applies and pertains to one's experience. Reality is defined by truth. Human Being-ness is defined by that Reality that lives as a personal truth. Sharing is the art of Being applied. Contentment with Being is the art of loving in the light of the moment. The ability to smile hopefully brightens the day of others.

I grew up with the author and really like the practical side of this book. Its full of surprises and its not just a dialogue. It engages the reader and encourages a person to shift assumptions and transform perception.

I love how this book encourages me to love myself as I am despite all the negative situations that tend to drag me down. It gives me strength.

“Self Disclosure” was and still is a challenge to me. Initially, it seemed daunting. Many wise voices speak through this book. They may be from diverse disciplines, but the author brings them to join as an exercise in personal development.

The first challenge for me was to find courage to read a book about self disclosure. The second was to admit this could actually be real for me. The third was to walk through this dialogue openly with the author, sharing intimately as she led gently but inevitably towards recognizing the very personal challenge of accepting life changes. Perhaps I need to peel back to stark honesty.

Self Disclosure is a huge work – as big as life itself. I recognize now it is not a closed book. I knew from the beginning I could not hope to sit down and read this work without periods of reflection and integration. I also know Self Disclosure will stay nearby. I will always need to review my evolving self. It is reassuring I can peruse again those strategic questions which are such signposts constantly demanding honest answers and commitment to decisions and perspectives. I have to remain prepared to be challenged, to be brave and open to change no matter what mountain I think I have scaled.

There is so much that stands out for me about this book. The positive thinking and ability to reframe life ring true. God gives each of us choices about how to perceive what is happening in our lives. You remind each of us that guardian angels take different forms. As I review my obstacles, I am able to find new meaning in pain and loss. In fact, I suddenly feel more grateful for everything.

Hi Liara.

I sense others could benefit from "Self Disclosure" if they are open to learning. I was very open. Readers have to be ready to challenge self-held beliefs. They have to be willing to let go. Open to realizing we create our own reality, and can actually change our perception of any event we may feel is out of our control.

The book is immensely life-changing. A true gift. Thank you for it.

xxoo
