Passion brings you here
When passion burns inside, the mind interprets this passion. It comments on what you are doing. Notice how you come to this place. Notice what you think you need to get to where you are. Notice what you focus attention on, like your desire to be what you are not. Notice thoughts come and go in your life. Notice what is outgrown. Notice that fear is all that stands in the way of love and self-discovery. Notice what it is to feel satisfied, to be at peace. Nobody looks at a map when here. Notice nothing stands in the way of the light of the open heart. God is the omniscient one seeing.

I am seeing to become excited or to experience excitement is an energizing state. One's battery has run low, and when someone lets go to arrive face on with this moment, they enter into agreement with what has been invited. They then are rushed with new energy which then vitalizes the soul. And so to become really excited may indicate a switch has been thrown where something that was once missing is found. Excitement may then be a word to describe one's soul essence opening up to the greater world. Experiencing excitement then may indicate that one often focuses on their personal energy field or their auric state.
Joy or to be over joyed then may also be described as someone who comes from a place of having a closed or partially obscured heart. However, when the block is overcome, then the joy of an open heart is experienced. The more the heart area has been blocked, the more over joyed a person appears to feel. People who focus or place importance on the heart chakra may experience joy more than they do excitement or contentedness.
In being content.... one is then fully immersed in the content of one's surroundings by letting go of that which is on the mind. There is a sense of even-ness and equality to everything being experienced. One melts into their surroundings and may not be immersed in joy or in passion. Perhaps this is a state of having all chakras fully opened where there is no identity even to the individualized soul. One simply Is. One's state of being is in equal proportion to their surroundings, and so they do not get excited because they have dropped their containment or identity field altogether. They are free floating in a sea of consciousness.
Passion does indeed get you to a place of being Here as well. It is an indication that one is goal oriented and that there is a purpose or a mission to life. Intentions are made on an ongoing basis and are revised as new experiences are assimilated into being. It is a driving force to get things accomplished by processing energies that have specifically been requested. Following Intent is then vital to one's health in this state of mind. Following one's passion then aligns one to the actions occurring in this moment. One surrenders to the motion or the action. The tension of the mind is alleviated when one is on target and surrenders to the life theme that one obeys and follows.
Nobody looks at a map when here -- I like that. Here is always the map-free zone. Nowhere to go. Only to be.

Osho sums it up perfectly in a wonderful story: When God created the world, he lived on the Earth. During this period, he was hasseled by the incessant demands of people who wanted their desires met. God asked his council what do to escape the increasing demands and they suggested he hide in a remote area of the Himalayas. But God responded that eventually he would be found by those who conquer mountains. Someone suggested he hide on the moon, but God responded that oneday humans would reach the moon too. Someone else suggested he hide in the stars, but God responded that even there he would eventually be found. Finally, someone whispered in God's ear and God rejoiced" "Yes, I will hide in the only place where man will never look---inside man himself!" And this is where God has been hiding ever since, silently watching.
In essence, the message is you are what you seek. It is whispering incessantly to you through the fabric of your bones, your beating heart, the vibration of your voice and silence of your very being. Turning attention inside is one way to be the passion.
