How can you be sure you are loved?

When was the last time you knew something beyond you was helping you? When was the last time you had enough faith to suspend beliefs? How do you pour out feelings of gratitude?

While on route to the hospital to visit a cherished inpatient, I used a parking card to get through an electronic gate. It was dark, rainy and I dropped the card. I got out of the car to pick it up, got back in, went to park, and did not think much of it.  Then, while the car was parked, my banana mysteriously dropped out of my purse.  Initially I did not see where it went.  You might say this is not so strange, or even, so what?

Yet what if I told you that misplaced banana appeared in an unlikely place, and prompted me to walk back in the rain to precisely where my glove had dropped? What if I told you that I felt guided to where that cherished inpatient had been moved? What if I told you this person had been mumbling to me in a different voice during sleep earlier that day and it resonated.  Some people may believe I am going bananas.  I beg to differ.

About a week ago, my car swerved in a storm toward the ditch.  Miraculously, the car swerved right back onto the road, going against what I presumed were laws of physical nature.  I sensed it was not yet my time to go.  I voiced aloud how grateful I was to still be present and alive to assist someone through the next stages of her illness.  We each sense truth without needing to explain.  We make silent, unconscious choices based on love.

The soul experiences impressions that remind people they will have eternal life. You might even infer  more than one path exists to a mystical experience.  When you are willing to acknowledge the unexplained, you breath life into possibilities and make them real. You confirm you know you are loved.

Thich Nhat Hahn & a tip to help you understand

Thich Nhat Hahn is a Zen master who reminds us love is what we nurture as we develop our capacities to take care of others and ourselves. He inspires us to learn to generate loving energy toward ourselves.  Only then will we gain expanding insight into love and evolve to nourish and care for others well.

In reading about Thich Nhat Hahn's life journey, you rediscover a different kind of heart of compassion within yourself.  You may care for loved ones who suffer from illness or, be relearning to care for yourself.  What matters is the effort, the will to learn, the instinct to love. As you ask, 'what else could you be doing for others?', do you also care for you?

Hahn shares this story worth mentioning:

When you plant lettuce, if it does not grow well, you don't blame the lettuce.  You look for reasons it is not doing well.  It may need fertilizer, or more water or less sun.  You never blame the lettuce.

Yet if we have problems with our friends or our family, we blame the other person.  But if we know how to take care of them, they will grow well, like the lettuce.  Blaming has no positive effect at all, nor does trying to persuade using reasons and arguments.

That is my experience.

No blame, no reasoning, no argument, just understanding.

If you understand, and you show that you understand, you can love, and the situation will change. You will find peace in every step, providing you choose to perceive it, for it is always there.

4 tips to eliminate what does not serve you

People dream up all kinds of ideas about who and what they really are.  That does not mean all these visions are necessarily accurate or how you identify yourself always serves you.

Ask yourself how your view of yourself relates to your dreams.  If you choose to take steps to eliminate what you are not, then you will bravely move closer to rediscover who you are;

1) Remove the labels.  You are not your alma mater, your diplomas, your job, your name, your address, your car, your gadgets, your entourage or any external thing you may mistakenly believe defines you.  This is just window-dressing.

2) Step outside your body.  Physical appearances are often deceiving.  Whatever your build, your hair color, your ethnicity, your muscleclature, your gender, your number of limbs and digits, all of this is separate from what abides underneath.

3) Detach from your dependence on the mind.  What used to seem palpable does not exist as you may assume.  The pronouns you use to describe yourself add depth to existence that is otherwise hollow and empty.  If your consciousness is mistaken about what appears to it, then you are brought to confront your predispositions and value judgments.

4) Identify additional misconceptions.  Meditation and other exercises in mental discipline will enable you to counteract and dissolve other ideas about your existence.  As you explore your exaggerated sense of self, you will further dismantle the shaky foundation.  You will discern the difference between your sense of self and conditioned sense of existence through your experience.  It can only be that way.

6 Ways telepathy can help you

People will say it seems difficult to get a grip on telepathy as a phenomenon. You may ask yourself if it is real. If you decide its possible, then how do you do it and how can it help you?

Different exercises exist and can be explored to train your mind. The key starting point is belief in abilities you may not fully understand. Scepticism is not helpful. As you accept you are notmeant to grasp a phenomenon based on your current human points of reference, you can still choose to evolve to learn. People who consciously walk in the darkconfront fear.

When the pupil is ready, teachers appear. Where there is a will, a way presents itself, providing the core motivation is not ego. It is each person's responsibility to learn to remove their veils of illusion. Consider these five ways telepathy can help you;

1) Expand your frame of reference. Even right at this moment, you are exploring telepathy from inside the dual frame of reference. That is, you are a sender and receiver of information. You send a loving smile, 'the evil eye' or a flirtateous glance and this allconveys messages. You are not always consciously aware of what you are sending and receiving or, details of all destinations of your manyenergy vibrations. Nonetheless, you engage in telepathy whenever you bypass the use of language. Practice is slowly altering your self-perception.How youview yourselfis changing.

3) Develop energy reading. As you transfer thoughts using means other than the traditional five senses, you aredetecting andre-interpreting energy. When you anticipate who is calling before you answer the phone, when you accurately discern your needs before someone tells you,when you gradually expect the unexpected, then you arereadingenergy fluctuations. You are learning to translatewhat you intuit. You are attuning to energy differently, nurturing faith in your dormant faculties.

3) Sharpen deliberate intent. Rather than assume telepathy may be some curious, latent ability of few unique individuals, you can grow to realize that telepathy is another skill thatmay bedeveloped through focused training. The nature of deliberate intent enables a person to find ways to learn techniques and gradually develop skills to complement evolving awareness and internal mental capacities. For example, people who bend spoons with the mind consciously harness mindpower and energy vibration for purpose. To decide you can do something and to learn to focus your energy will expand your potential.

4) Shift applications of traditional senses. Human beings are conditioned that their five senses have specific applications. For example, you are taught to see color, smell aromas, taste flavours, touch sensations, and hear sound. This said,you can evolve to see sound with senses other than hearing. What would you say if you evolved to taste light? People sense auras with different faculties.Beliefslimit what youexperience.How you think canstill be greatly expanded.

5) Better understand fellow human beings. People exist who seem to function differently from many others. As you develop the patience to learn to communicate differently yourself, you will gain empathy and a new sense of inter-connectedness with all humanity. Youwill look at a person and convey messages more readily without words. In fact, you do this already without realizing it.

6) Move beyond fear.  In fiction, telepathy is often linked with conflict between good and evil.  You may have feared the notion of possessing mind control because it may be used to harm others or permit others to harm you.  The idea of developing ability to "push" thoughts, feelings, or hallucinatory visions into the mind of another person, to cause pain in others at will, paralysis, or unconsciousness, alter or erase memories, are all reasons why people do not explore the truth. If you permit fear to control you, then you do not permit your mind to dissolve illusion and experience the power of love.

5 Ways to gain new insight into the real you

People who believe they know themselves may be surprised to learn it is possible to gain more and more clarity. Initial insights are not the most profound or life-changing.

To evolve to recognize the nature of your own learning curve is to prepare yourself to completely transform your perception. You are in process of learning totrain your mind differently, to create new thresholds or advanced levels of understanding. Consider five ways to gain insight into the real you;

1)Experience something to sense what it is. You grow to sense the difference between things through opening yourself to them. What you anticipate about each experience is not how it is. You cannot identify an apple by solely discerning its not an orange. Youapply your sensesto focus the mind and keep it focused. It is necessary to create new points of reference.

2)Take the time todiscover solitude. To choose to be alone in quiet enables you to experience a sense of emptiness. This kind of atmosphere invites reflection about different levels of your ownignorance and how you can act to change.

3)Shake the foundation of your beliefs. How people and things appear to your mind is often automatically accepted as truth. As you begin to discern your values and conditioning, you begin to grasp why you cling to certain assumptions. You peel through layers of your reasoning as you use and reuse it.

4)Suppress counter-productive emotions. Your dreams exist and so do you. Negative thoughts and feelings can destabilize your focus and self-confidence.  You choose how to perceive yourself and how your mind functions.  You decide what serves you and what does not.  You have the power to dissolve or remove limits you create to block insight.

5)Revise your own misconceptions. As you grow more and more discerning, you begin to realize the complex layers of misundersanding that have come to frame your life. Your conditioned views about what you had assumed you can or cannot do, what you had denied and rejected, none of these beliefs are realities although so forcefully expressed by the mind. You can detach from lies and self-created illusion.
