More people relate than you think

Did you ever notice that the part of you which fears sharing your true passions or talents is actually  being encouraged to do so by people you know or barely even know?

Recently, I had a book about ghosts and spirits with me when I visited a local post office.  I innocently set it on the counter while I was proceeding with a payment.  Now, I visit this place often and its my nature to chat.  Yet, I only discuss 'the esoteric' when prompted so as not to freak anyone out.   Everyone is at a personal level of awareness.  Experience shapes what you think.  You recognize things based on spiritual acceptance.

On this particular day, three clerks suddenly started to discuss this topic with me.  They shared their beliefs and how they rarely spoke of spirit realms except in context of popular tv programs.  Having been more outspoken about life and death in the past, they were ridiculed and now hushed up. Yet, they resonated such excitement talking with me.

One clerk confided a personal story.  After her father passed over, she said that he spoke to her in her bathroom.  She shared with me that she had glmpsed his blurry form and truly believed he had chosen to say good bye to her 'from the Other Side.'

When sharing this experience with her family, they did not believe her and thought her nutty.  She could not explain why she felt a strong pull to tell me.  I simply said what people believe or not does not have to influence her faith in herself.  I reassured her that I believed her.  Any effort to force growth on others shows you that is not your job.

Not long ago, a neighbour shared a story about her husband.  He had a few strokes and she wondered if he was not hallucinating.  She described how he saw light beings passing through his bedroom walls and he was also speaking to people she did not see.   What should she make of it?  I shared my view that there is nothing to fear and beliefs influence what we discern, where and when. She got what she needed from our chat that ensued.

I admit it used to surprise me when people I hardly knew would confide to me about similar things at bus stops, trains stations, airports and other transient places.  Something prompted them to share stories of presumed ghost encounters or related phenomena.  Your soul tells you that you desire to relate to others.  Intuition tells you when you do.

Each person knows when it is the right time to open up about a subject that seems to evoke fear.  You come to realize sources of discomfort are always outside of yourself.  As you get over that, transcend it, you realize you have nothing to fear.  No matter where your talents lie or, what you feel compelled to tell someone, that will be good for you.

Complete strangers have the power to remind us who we are.  People close to you offer clues as well.  How often do you underestimate how people relate to you?  They draw your attention to what you need to see.  This is not about belonging to a political party, seeking a label or, sense of community.  Ask yourself what is your aim.  It is to serve in the capacities you are able.  This requires your will and courage to put into practice.

Learn to live according to your decisions

If you are ready and willing to make life changes, then you are also learning to live by your decisions.  Before you will be in an informed position, you have to learn to be aware of how and why you think.  Whatever you are doing right at this moment, offers you lessons in faith and courage.  How do you discern and integrate them into your life?

To believe in self-improvement may lead you to assume you have things wrong with you.  In this way, the self-growth concept may be viewed as destructive.  Yet, it is not necessary to criticize and degrade yourself in order to expand and strengthen the soul.  In fact, you do this unconsciously already. To live according to your decisions would bring it to a conscious level.   To think and feel with deliberate intent transforms you.

Each time you devise a solution or action, part of you responds with an excuse and other parts of you are receptive.  Which parts do you choose to hear? It is possible you know someone who relives the same problems or situations.  This may sound like you.  Maybe you resist or hesitate to act on advice. Do you ignore that inner voice of guidance?  Why is it that people hold back from what they sense is right? How does this serve you?

Evolution is not a straight line.  You have latent or dormant abilities in the soul.  You have not even begun to unveil the extent of your faculties and potential.  Whether or not you realize, you are building on yourself all the time; how and what you perceive and your chosen focus.  You constantly decide to explore new possibilites for self-expression.

Each decision you make to detach from your own perception of trouble, discomfort and imperfection, is another step toward realizing your true nature.  Life experience teaches you that you learn better what feels good by discovering what does not.  You learn which jobs and relationships build you up or not as the result of knowing the opposite.  In this way, part of you has decided to live by a process of elimination.

Mary Ann Winkowski & 3 truths about ghosts

Mary Ann Winkowski is the woman whose life is the basis for t.v. show Ghost Whisperer.  She has written a fascinating book entitled, When Ghosts Speak.  In this work, she offers a glimpse into how she sees an talks to earthbound spirits.  She explains some humans see spirit from birth and other humans evolve to discern spirit presence later in mortal life.

If you choose to believe that you are an energy being, then you may begin to wonder about the depth of knowledge available to you before and after you leave this world.  In fact, you may begin to generate endless questions about ghosts and spirit.  Mary Ann offers insight to empower you to rethink how you view life on the Earthly plane and imagine existence beyond:

1) Earthbound spirits do not possess any special, higher knowledge.  They may even go out of their way to give wrong information.  They are unable to offer higher guidance because knowledge about immortal life is available to spirits who have passed over.

2) Ghosts do not always leave a strong presence with odors, sounds or cold drafts.  These are the kinds of things you hear about in popular books and movies, but drama can be far from the truth.  As you heighten sensitivities, you may be surprised at what you sense.

3) Never underestimate the significance of dream encounters.  If you sense earthbound spirits are very similar to the living, then you may grow to interact with them during night dreams.  Spirit visit and convey messages in forms you expect or not.  You see them your way.  In fact, perception or detection of spirit personalities can be very different.

5 reasons to feel motivated at this moment

In all likelihood, you got out of bed today. The heart knows precisely why even if the mind is in denial.  This is beyond the basic call of Mother Nature and desire to pass on the bedpan.

You may infer that you have not yet finished what you started or, that you have no idea what motivates you to go on.  Yet, something does. Otherwise, you would not still be here.  Conside these five reasons to feel motivated at this moment and reflect further on your own;

1) You desire to view the world differently.

2) You realize you readily shift your perception.

3) You have abilities to replace discomfort with love and peace.

4) You begin to grasp limits begin and end in your mind.

5) You have no reason to fear, unless it is an illusion.

"At one stage in life, I was motivated by just thinking that if you had all this external success that everyone would love you and everything would be peaceful and wonderful."

What does your perception tell you?

A sense of purpose gives something meaning.  When you feel your life has purpose, you feel motivated to behave in certain ways, to make certain choices.   Purpose is created by the ego and reinforced in perception.  At a given moment, you convince yourself about whatever you like.  As the result, you may be misusing or misinterpreting your senses.

What if you decided your goals, your sense of what is useful, necessary or important, were all suspended?  What if you chose to believe how you experience the physical world is a meaningless distraction from where you truly desire to be?  Could this reveal a side of yourself that you have been unaware of or, unwilling to see?

To stand back from your routines and habits enables you to view your life vert differently.  When was the last time you really had a sense of why do what you do?  Your Earthly perception rows from a sense of personal interests, that is, what you hope to gain.  As you detach from personal interest , you begin to realize you exert effort on nothing for no reason.  If you are determined to reorient your mindset, then this happens as you explore reasons for which you do things.

Take the phone, fax or email.  You use these tools to contact people who are not immediately or physically in front of you.  And yet, part of you is unsure why you desire to communicate.  You bother contacting some yet, do not make the effort in others.   Why?

Something invisible, some inner knowing, causes you to feel each of your efforts is meaningful.  You choose to perceive or discen purpose.  If you give up any sense of motivation then where would you be?  No human perception could offer definitive clarity.

Your evolving mind is guiding you in new directions.  The underlying purpose for your action is beyond your understanding.  Since birth, your soul has slowly expanded to get you where you are at this moment. Your dreams  elaborate on the energy you sense and feel.  You shift focus from subject to subject because you choose to see differently.
