Reason like a mystic

Many people question the nature of transformation, or wonder how to speed it up or slow it down.  You may reflect on what is unfolding during your own process. What traits or qualities capture your attention?

You may hear people inquire how to levitate or perform other earthly miracles while in the physical body.  Consider ego desire for fame and power. How does this shape the experience of divine grace?

In truth, nobody skips levels of awareness. Deeper remembering arises in tandem with awareness. Its not what you have but how you use it.  In silence, you notice and feel more. Universal laws reveal themselves beyond words. Core compassion guides selfless acts. As the unenlightened observer awakens to how truth transcends the physical world, he frees self from ego and illusion and opens to love without limits.

The notion that mystical experiences can be grasped and controlled by the mind overlooks how one is invited to use events that defy reason to break through the barriers of reason itself.  In essence, a physical you does not exist to learn to perform miracles, but to disprove the belief of a need.  To awaken to the limitless being you are, is to align with soul, open fully to inner power, and know being is already a miracle.

Why try to make or chase miracles, when we are already miracles, eh? And each moment a miracle.

A few years ago, I went through a period of time in which I really wanted to wake up faster, to be done somehow, to have arrived spiritually. Strange moment, really, almost a self-sabotage. Because of course that wanting, that needing to push and achieve an end-point is of the ego. Lately I even question the idea of spiritual "progress" -- or at least progress in the neat linear way our minds perceive it. There's just me and the moment.

"In essence, a physical you does not exist to learn to perform miracles, but to disprove the belief of a need." I've written this sentence down in the notebook beside my desk. I don't understand it yet. That happens. ;)

Jannie, the mind imagines many ideas of what a miracle is. A book called a Course in Miracles (ACIM) offers its own perspective. Ultimately, we are each invited to awake and draw from the grace of our own inner wisdom. A miracle need not be seen in the physical to be known by soul.

Meredith, spiritual masters echo that coming into one's own remarkable inner powers before one is ready can be a distraction on the spiritual path. When such capablities are viewed as miracles separate from who you are, this does not serve the bigger process. To embrace and integrate the mystical side of self is to sense the energetic field from within, and remember to use spritual senses without needing to know how they function or why they exist. Beliefs are an invention of the mind.

When one reasons like a mystic, everything becomes reasonable to the point where there is no point, and where there is no longer any need or desire to reason. Miracles, and its counterpart, Magic, are experienced with every Moment. The physical manifestation of the miracle then no longer means anything......it is the release its self from that which has been hardened....the letting go and breaking of the circles that one feels and embraces, which is then a door way to everything and nothing at all.

Bernie, as you intuit, even points of reference disappear as one reconnects fully with what is.
