Seeing through the veil

Every moment, you are invited to see through the veil of your own illusions.  That is, what is real and enduring exists beneath the layers of beliefs, perceptions and judgment that arise to cover it. The process of allowing true nature to reveal itself is about letting go of everything you are taught is real and no longer resisting what is.

Even now, situations you observe are not what you think.  The ego-mind may tell you these situations are not about you.  You see yourself as separate or as a reflection in everything. One view is anything you perceive is a projection of Self-love.  You love and accept unconditionally, see everything as equal and balanced or you are not aligned with the real you, that is, divine being. Notice life lessons that invite your attention. Notice the mind filters and the heart cherishes all. How does innermost soul see?

"Were I called on to define, very briefly, the term Art, I should call it 'the reproduction of what the Senses perceive in Nature through the veil of the soul." -Edgar Allan Poe

Well, if the illusion is very sweet, I`m ready to believe it

I sense that we are here on earth to experience what it is like to play around with these different veils. With them we get to Feel what it is like to have different perspectives, experiences, emotions.

I feel that just like our clothes, the veils do not make us any different or any less of the real us. They simply allow us to play around with different "looks". We are always All that we are, as far as I have been able to sense there is no way to be less than or separate from our real selves.

Eric W., words only ever take on the meaning you give them (or agree on). The degree to which you are willing to test your beliefs determines whether you are willing to shift your own perception. Nobody else can do this for you.

Stacey, the ego perceives the world through its filters and the heart sees everything as a teacher that awakens you to know all that is. This is not only being aware of who is the perceiver, but anything the ego would have you seek. The ego mind interprets the world in ways that evoke fear and guilt. The heart sees everything through the lens of love. As the heart and mind are seen as one, you are conscious you are capable of creating reality or illusions and are doing both simultaneously. As your focus of attention expands, this enables you to observe the bigger picture and see things as they are. I explore this in my fourth book, Be Your Dream, which is to be available later this month.

Hi Liara .. it's all out there - free to find, to lift the veil on seeing ... having space to experience ... thanks Hilary

True Art is created by the harmonious reunion of the soul and the spirit of the moment. Any purposeful reproduction is then a product of a veiled soul. Art and the artist then speaks to other souls by providing an entry point into a world beyond the physical where one is first bathed and cleansed to receive a fresh coat of paint. There is no lead included and applied to any scene. There are no brush marks to distract one's attention. Everything comes together to resonate a truth, where Art lives at Home.

Hilary, one perspective is nothing is nowhere but inside yourself. In this sense, there is no "out there." A greater reality invites you to align with it. The deepest recess of your being triggers the revelation that everything is unfolding now, in this moment. The external world is not what it seems. To begin to accept reality is multidimensional means new layers of reality are revealing themselves all the time. Everything hinges on what you are willing to allow and accept or resist.

Bern, love your analogy. In essence, oe being exists in multi-dimensions in this moment. As you reflect on your existence, you notice and hold different perspectives based on roles as an artist, explorer, adventurer and whatever other terms come to mind. Add to that, you hold the multidimensional chakra system within your body. As you step back, you notice vertical and horizontal systems through the brain and anatomy. Consider also meridians, nadis, the implications of the energy body, moving outside that and more. Moving through dimensions, forms and formless states, you encounter other worlds, beings and have a delicious taste of what you presume to be infinity. And can even that be seen?
