Why explore the Tibetan healing path?

Tibetan medicine helps people to grasp the origins and cause of illness.  Would you like to discern how you hold illness in your body and mind?  Its within your reach to discover the profound healing system within yourself.  Would you like to become your own healer?

This Tibetan view tells us the physical body is an expression of mental energies produced by the brain.  The nature of mental energies changes based on how a person experiences the world and is conditioned to interpret it.  So, you live based on reflections of the past.

Since your brain reacts based on your senses, your reaction is always slightly behind the event to which you react.  Any sense of immediacy is an illusion.  You express feelings based on the past.  You touch fire, expecting to get burned (or not), then feel.

Similarly, you're conditioned to expect illness or discomfort.  Hear of morning sickess?  Ever watch someone fall, scrape a knee and start to cry?  Read about how certain behavior brings terminal disease? Fear of any illness invites a self-fulfilling prophecy.  We always influence our own unconscious patterns of karma. We can change them too.

Let's say this life is for developing abilities to make you stronger, wiser and more peaceful inside.  Let's say you accept you are an energy being, that everything around you vibrates at a different frequency. Let's say how you perceive begins and ends in you.

If you adopt these views, then you begin to understand how overwhelming or unbalanced experience can take the form of physical or mental illness.  Energy simply changes form.  To sense this means you can retrace the origins of discomfort, then choose to stop suffering. As you change how you see yourself, you are healing your illness.  You are moving beyond the illness, like a prejudice you imagine into being real.

From the Tibetan standpoint, as you discover ways to revitalize your physical body and energy, you also promote spiritual growth.  How can this be?  Well, to move beyond those things that held you back physically and mentally is another way to attract more good things.  Your health reflects self-confidence.  Illness reflects a level of worthlessness.

We each have power to transform energy we initially interpret as suffering into forms to encourage inner balance, virtue and compassion.  When will you reframe your healing?

3 Signs that you move to master your life

Humans will often question, "am I there yet?" or, "what do I have left to learn?" Suffice is to say that if you still exist in this world, you still have much to learn. Yet, regardless of age or life experience, you can always gain new insight into progress. How would you describe your mindset now? Consider 3 signs that you are moving to master your life:

1) You are no longer bothered by what people say or do.  As you evolve to get-to-know and accept yourself, you no longer care about the approval or rejection of others. You no longer nurture self-criticism, justify guilt, fear or shame. You no longer hang on someone else's words, regret what may have been or dwell on emotional turmoil. These ephemeral states are seen as tests. Your inner calm reflects how you are moving "into your own."

2) You are willing to give anything up. No matter what you have earned or acquired, you would have no trouble giving it all away or dealing with conditions if you lost it all.  As you become more highly-evolved, you realize you only imagine worry.  You discern everything you need already exists.  If you decide you can be anywhere you wish, you will be. You begin to experience sharing what you have far beyond objects and lessons. This strengthens your inter-connectedness with all. We don't have to "get anywhere" because we already are "there," right where we need to be. You already have it all.

3)  You realize your perceived enemies are wounded parts of yourself. Anyone who seems to "have it out for you" simply reflects a part of you yet to be accepted and integrated. As you grow to sense your role is to heal all your wounds, this includes loving and forgiving yourself and people who may not reciprocate. Who you really are is unrelated to your physical body and perceived capacities. Your ego is an imperfect filter that you move to transcend.

Envelop the emptiness of your true self

As you try to understand events, you are struggling to understand and heal yourself. Events do not happen to us. We create the reality we think we want. Desires emerge from ego, not from your true self. Only within the void does truth appear. Emptiness is like feeling at ease, desireless and discerning the odorless purity of your spirit.

It is useful to remember that when a person refuses to learn a lesson in this life, because of being too busy, because of fear, or because of resisting change like an ingrained habit, the physical body will take over and begin to teach you its own way. We are all in search of our own perfection. To become whole, we must first discover the meaning of "empty."

Some people believe that during this life, each of us is only dreaming based on feelings and sensations we choose. When the spirit awakes in death, a person no longer has things that were collected or a sense of accomplishment based on what was supposedly achieved. The strange and mysterious shape our lives long before our time here is over.

What appears outside your frame of reference or your realm of experience, is not beyond the understanding of the mind. As you grow, you will understand. As you learn to nurture both male and female aspects of yourself, you will evolve to feel complete inside and you will also learn to nurture your innermost soul. Find comfort in its solitude and emptiness.

Journey back to love

You may not realize you are on a healing journey back to experience unconditional love and compassion.  This process requires that you take steps to discover and come-to-terms with your inner wounds.  Didn't know you had any?

You are invited to explore everything about yourself, including the reasons behind your mindsets.  Certain aspects of yourself are imbalanced and would benefit from re-alignment.  Life offers opportunities to re-balance your perceptions and your self-view.

1) Teach yourself to discern emotional wounds.    As you discern reasons for your own discomfort, you evolve to a position where you can decide to take steps to heal yourself.  If you choose, you can also share your lessons learned and assist others to heal.

2) Develop your compassion.  The ability to develop a more positive attitude about your own life and conditions enables you to further your healing process and also to develop new insight into compasion for the suffering of others.

3) Embrace everything.  The aim is not to deny or reject anything about your life, but to embrace all experiences and the benefits they bring.  What you perceive as positive or negative always has a polar opposite which contributes to balance.

4) Explore alternative therapies.  Techniques like Reiki, transference healing,  dream analysis, soul therapy, chiropractic and various approaches to healing with hands can be useful to your healing process.  Learn more about options that will help you achieve your own balance.   Its all about self-acceptance, reassureance and encouragement.

Heal your unconscious self-sabotage

We each have many sides to our personalities that are active in different situations.  In reality, we are complex beings full of inconsistencies and contradictions.  We have parts we acknowledge and reveal to others, and more private aspects we keep to ourselves.  The hidden parts escalate and do us damage if we don't choose to review and transform.

Amidst your varied sides of your persona, you may be unaware of the deeply ingrained negative views that you generate, harbor and perpetuate, to hold you back from dreams.  As you learn to raise awareness of these negative views and why you have them, you slowly deconstruct your self-critical side to heal your unconscious self-sabotage.

1) Reflect on your past.  We all have memories of discomfort, situations where we were labelled negatively, such as weak, unlovable, inadequate, unforgivable, unworthy, or not good enough.  People may have told us these things, but we would not have heard them if they didn't echo from deep within our souls.

2)  Realize you decide what's next.  To what degree we absorbed and grew to believe lies about ourselves led to misunderstandings about our abilities and potential.  In reality, we have no reason to feel ashamed or to believe we are bad, angry or less than we are.  This is a phase in a process where we can decide we will react differently now.

3) Recognize what you resist persists.  If you deny or ignore your anxieties, you are unwilling to come to terms with root causes of your pain.  Anger, resentment, guilt, shame and similar reactions need self-expression, yet you may repress them in efforts to deny the truth.   You will find you attract angry behavior from others to remind you about what requires attention inside yourself.

4) Discern anger and unforviveness are survival mechanisms.  As you grow stronger, you can find courage to understand your past on a conscious level.  Choosing to change opens your heart to a very different life.  Since at least 60% of your communication is non-verbal, bad feelings you thought you concealed were actually visible in your energy vibration, body movement, gestures and facial expressions.  Your life evolved based on these messages.  To grasp negativity was a survival mechanism enables you to learn from your past, to forgive yourself and move beyond it.
