Are you magnifying the right thing?

Its not the measurable size of an issue that matters, its whether you're able to put a situation into perspective.  When did you last  remind yourself that something positive was bigger than your perceived problems? Something greater could always intervene.

One point of view is that no matter what you experience right now, this can be seen as a stepping stone to get you somewhere better.  You don't have to remind yourself someone is always worse off than you are. You can focus in a different direction, a higher one.

When you remember than adversity is only temporary, you can evolve to realize the experience is making a lasting difference on you from the inside.  What if you decided to imagine that the nature of your future was reflected by the depth of your problems? Wouldn't that imply you're truly going places? Pride is irrelevant in light of your heart.

If you step back, you may sense a self-defeating mindset is holding you back like a ball and chain.  Huge may seem the obstacles in front of you, but more convincing is the faith inside yourself that enables you to surpass them. What you see is changing as a result of what you don't see.  Faith in yourself, in what is and will be transforms your life already.

When is it time to rethink where you are?

Some people might tell you anytime is the right time to do what you want.  Yet, if you listen to your gut, voices about responsibilities and commitments will echo that this isn't always true.  Its a kind of balancing game.  Which voices do you hear inside yourself?

Take a friend of mine, a home builder.  He is licensed and capable, but he's bored and senses he doesn't follow his true passion.  He told me he repeatedly took trade courses to expand his license, but his teacher refused to certify him.  He admitted being frustrated.  The man's teacher was convinced he would be exploited.  He admits his personality isn't aligned with the job.  He came to me expressing impatience for change.

The context of your situation always invites you to find blessings in your circumstances.  How often do you notice them? You may begin to recognize signs that are pulling you away from what you know.  If you ask yourself if its appropriate to rethink who and what you are, then this may simply begin with questioning what you do.  Remind yourself that;

1) You are always building bridges.  Everything you learn is actually preparing you for something you have not anticipated.  When you choose to value each experience for what it is and not where it may be leading, your perspective shifts to transform you.

2) Barriers in your perception appear.  When you sense what you do is incompatible with what you would really like to do, you realize discomfort can be interpreted as a positive sign.  Knowing what you don't want prompts you to explore and embrace what you do.  When you find reasons to doubt, judge or generate negative energy, these are barriers to how you really want to feel.  This brings you closer to the more inviting light.

3) The journey never ends.  The totality of yourself is something you piece together throughout your understanding of life.  To believe in possibilities, in positive outcomes and meaningful experiences, all helps define your path.  Some people assume freedom is frightening, that change is something to be avoided at all cost.  Yet, as you choose to think you have been grooming yourself for this moment, then you reframe everything and focus 'on the now.'  To choose to be humble and indifferent is the antidote for impatience.

Why does life seem to hard?

People will readily admit aspects of their lives are hard.  The same people will expand on these beliefs and unknowingly hold themselves back from living a different kind of life.  Does this sound like you or, anyone you know?  Would you like to shift things inside you?

Life doesn't have to seem like an uphill battle.  Make an effort to listen to yourself.  How are you thinking right at this moment? What kinds of words are you using to describe your feelings and experiences to other people?  The more you realize your action shapes your life, the more informed you will be, and the more prepared to change your thinking.

Imagine how your life will be from the moment you decide things are easy.  Would you be motivated? Would you feel driven? Would impetus become unnecessary? If you're already where you need to be, does hope lose meaning or, shift to take on new significance?

One of the most shocking things to realize is you always find in life what you are looking for.  That is, if you choose to find challenges,  they will find you.  You may choose to be stretched, to be confronted with situations you have never experienced before.

We all make conscious and unconscious choices.  Everything happens exactly as it should, even if part of you is reluctant to accept you get what you asked for. Why would you hesitate to accept value in discomfort? Realize balance requires two sides to perception.

Each experience is bringing you face-to-face with hidden fears, misplaced pride and inflated self-importance.  Dissolve them. You may need to taste the unknown to learn to stop manipulating or misinterpreting the world you think you know.  What is it you think you are meant to learn from your hardship? What have you already gained? Is it worth it?

Why shift your focus?

By focusing on gratitude, your worries begin to fade into insignificance. You realize they just conceal another worthwhile lesson to be learned.  By shifting your mindset to a more positive, optimistic one, stress magically evaporates.  Isn't that what you truly want?

Many people don't realize how close they are to realizing dreams.  This will sound like music to your ears.  You're thinking, "could I really be that close?"  Why permit negative emotions like fear or self-doubt to get to you?  You're always free to adopt other views.

More than anything else, you discern a deep desire to satisfy something at soul-level.  You may be in the process of clarifying it.   Whatever it is, it doesn't judge or punish.  Its not a figment of an overactive imagination.  Its an unlimited source of answers for you.

Something inside you echoes you have known throughout your life.  You desire to listen, to read the signs, to do all the things that justify leaving what you thought you knew.  Ask for your eyes to be opened, your senses widened.  It will happen when you're ready.

Every experience is an exercise that invites you to learn to trust your inner self more. You are moving in precisely the right direction.  You sense that too, or you wouldn't be reading this now.  It reinforces what you already know.  All you need to have is faith.

Sense the most appropriate outcome

You may have heard that the best way to get the outcome you hope for is to detach from it completely.   Detachment would acknowledge you don't control the final result.  Yet, you can value that, and roles of faith and trust, and go about things slightly differently.

Another perspective involves accepting its not you who creates or chooses an outcome.  Rather, you select among varied possibilities.  Do you ever identify a scenario in your mind and begin to detect what feels right?  Do you sense its possible to feel what works?

Prepare yourself.  This is all about learning to ignore what you see with your eyes, or to base your belief on the limits of your conditioned perception.  Its a matter of transcending the confines of your mind.  How often to you reflect on 'the unthinkable?'

Its up to you to decide what is and isn't real.  You can select a scenario that your rational mind would overlook.  Remind yourself that you sense vibrations on a subconscious level.  You know what feels right.  You can control your thoughts and intend things before you let go.  You can become sensitive enough to consciously select what's in harmony.  The universe works the rest You'll get what you expect subconsciously.
