What if life is not what you think?

Many people spend an enormous amount of energy believing what they think matters.  What if life is not thought? In fact, what if thinking obscures what the heart knows?

To know thyself is not the same as thinking about it.  Leave your emotional baggage and memories at the door.  Stop thinking.  It changes how  and what you see. Be aware of when you permit thoughts to control you.  Realize you have choices. Give up your assumptions.  How does it feel? Discover nothing is as important as you think it is.

From the beginning of time, human beings are taught skills and lead to believe they can become better than they already are.  All the while, the universe is sending you infinite reminders that you already are perfect.  Why ignore what the heart knows?

Everything happens as it does.  Every revelation is interconnected in cosmic synchronicity.  Feel it.  As you remember what is means to be truly honest with yourself, you open to all you ever need.  You are willing to let go of all you are taught.  Allow yourself to see beyond patterns.  What a fresh experience evrry moment.

"All fixed set patterns are incapable of adaptability or pliability. The truth is outside of all fixed patterns." - Bruce Lee

So, how does one allow one's self to stop thinking??? Any ideas?

cordieb, thinking is a conditioned activity. To stop thinking, you can explore how it feels to quiet the mind. Meditation practice can be helpful here. Thought is based on linear consciouness. In essence, you are taught words and language how to use them. Awareness is simply felt and intitive. It exists before thinking and yo ucan revert to it any moment.

To raise awareness is to sense the observer and participant within. That is, the thinker and the feeler are both present inside you. Every perspective is a teacher. My Self-Disclosure book invites you to answer questions in a journal to draw attention to levels of your awareness and judgment. This empowers readers to explore self-perception and grow more conscious of how they think and feel.

Energetic awareness is meaningful to grasp. Time is collapsing. If you continue to follow the ego-based ordered reality, you limit the self to linear perception. Reality is infinite. Meditation offers different avenues to sense how it feels to not be controlled by thought. You may enjoy this post on "overthinking" & comments:

Liara, I think perhaps you've written the single most powerful statement ever: "Stop thinking." When we make the choice to do this, we create space, and in that space flows everything, and all of it is felt/known/understood knowledge and discovery. "Stop thinking" is akin to saying "Abracadabra!"

Julie, when a person asks how to stop thinking, that person is still thinking. To relax and allow awareness to fill you allows you to empower the inner self to reveal itself. Every point of view you could ever be, you already are. As you awaken to this truth, you are your own guru and do not rely on externals. The machine does not control the paradigm. You decide what you are based on what you are taught or based on detaching from conditioning to reconnect with your innersight.

Hi Liara .. I need to disconnect - sometime that will start to happen and then I will learn to be ... the Healer, Janice, I have coming in to see my Ma .. is going to India and incorporating a week's silent retreat .. I'm really interested in hearing how she gets on.

She's a bit anxious .. so I suggested she journal and make notes of everything .. all her experiences and feelings .. and she came back tome and said - you're right I hadn't thought about that side of it .. it'll be good to spend time with her and get her assistance in my spiritual awakening.

All the best at this time - Hilary Melton-Butcher

Hilary, starting a journal is meaningful. Lessons are available to be learned wherever you are. Writing down how you feel about a situation enables you to step back and reframe different mesages you are sending yourself. Attune to the observer inside. You are your own teacher.

Life for me has become that which I feel for within. Thinking has now become a tool for me to transmit my feelings to the outer world.
Bern, full awareness of the complete self reconnects you with the infinite, inner child or higher self. Every moment, you allow feeling more deeply than moments before. You feel the way back to truth beyond thought.
