8 Ways to rediscover supernormal perception

Human beings differ in their levels of awareness of and degrees of resistance to energy vibration. As you intuit power over the self and the forces of nature depend on your understanding of energy fields, then you begin to realize anyone can alter his perception. To be motivated to do so does not mean you consciously know how or achieve consistency.

If you are willing to adjust the nature and path of your learning curves, you may evolve to rediscover supernormal perceptual states. This requires levels of self-realization and an extensive de-conditioning process in the physical world. No human mind can grasp the reasons for this process. Yet, you can evolve to tap into it within and become a more active participant. How?

1) Explore meditation. This practice teaches power of now. You rediscover meaning in silence and stillness. You grow aware of breathing rates, appetite, thirst, basic body functions, limited senses, and also activate dormant parts of your brain.

2) Engage in Yoga. This physical and mental discipline involves learning a series of postures and breathing exercises. Practice leads to achieving new levels of flexibility and control over the body and mind, and noticing misplaced beliefs.

3) Attune to energy. A subtle light body (electromagnetic field) holds consciousness and is made up of small energy vibrations. What you think and feel translates into vibrations which interact or interfere with your base energy vibration. Endless energy is available to those who learn how to take it.

4) Recognize emptiness. This awareness emerges as you discern sensations associated with clarity and openness. Dormant abilities arise naturally. Through deepening concentration, you shift your sense of base energy vibration.

5) Chant mantras. This assists your mind to focus when it is scattered. By chanting mantras, one is able to produce a spiritual effect which is associated with the physical sensation of the chant's vibration. Each mantra has connotations.

6) Grasp how mantras work. This expands yourconnection to the universe and insight into how energy functions. As a mantra is repeated, the effect is felt within and without to create frequencies that evoke peace of mind. Consistency requires practice. Chanting mantras enables you to manifest the intent of the idea in physical form.

7) Discern conditioning.  This stage refers to how behaviors or patterns must be acknowledged and understood for what they is before they are transcended.  As you realize "normal" psychological attributes bleed imperceptibly into the perceptual realms, you begin to connect form with formless.

8) Link the manifested with unmanifested.  This perspective connects the realm of consciousness with where you are.  If you come to believe energy interpetrates states and dimensions seen and unseen, then how you experience energy changes.  Awareness shifts.  Doubt, anger, and fear dissolve. Energy re-aligns.  You no longer offer excuses to give life to what cannot be possible. You simply experience what is.

I don't believe I have super normal perception, or anybody else. I believe a lot of people have sub normal - clogged up perception :)

"Chant mantras." is most practical for me.
there is so much good practices and insights but it is hard to remember it or properly apply in specific situations.
Mantras and famous quotes help me a lot.
Buddha, very astute observation. The ego's attention is peaked by something that appears to strengthen the illusion of superiority. If you believe that each person is merely learning to peel away miisunderstandings and misperceptions about his own innate abilities, then it is reasonable to conclude each being works to rediscover a normal baseline. This view would identify all emotions, other than pure love, as distractions from reality.

Alik, you have many mantras to choose from. Mantras set to music effect the frequency of energy vibrations differently than mantras chanted alone. How you attune to your own energy shapes the levels and degrees of internal communiation in your body. New variations of awareness or self-understanding unfold in relation to mantras.

In an interesting sort of way, I've taken an interest, more than ever, in exploring different ways of meditating and yoga. In particular, I was led to Transcendial Meditation or TM. There's a university in America that teaches this to all their students, which I find rather fascinating.

The challenge for me is how do I learn meditation since I cannot close my eyes while the instructor is teaching the class? Is it possible to learn meditation with my eyes open to grasp what the teacher is saying and then close them while processing the instructions? I wonder....hmmmmm......

The eight fold path that you write about is very effective. What regular practice of all of these gives one is an increased state of alertness. One can call this supernormal perceptions.

Stephen, learning can be absorbed and re-applied through using different senses. One is not limited to any single way of "seeing." Expanding invites you to stretch further.

rummuser, increasing alertness has the power to shift perspective. Each person can attune to his or her own baseline energy, state of mind, beliefs or values. This forms a kind of "grounding." As a person evolves to detach and move away from previous behaviour, this is sometimes coined as a different kind of normal. As you move over and above what you thought was possible, you may believe your surpass limits and develop apparent supernormal perception. Your view emerges from you.

Hey Liara :D!

"No human mind can grasp the reasons for this process." - how can anyone be absolutely sure of this? What if there is a human mind that grasps the reasons, but remained silent minding its own business?

1) Meditation: I agree with you; this practice does activate dormant parts of our brain. Do you think that we can, after many years of practice, use more than 40% of our brain?

2) Engage in Yoga: yes...again, I agree.

3) Attune to energy: what are the benefits of attuning to energy? Could ESP be developed through it?

4) Recognise Emptiness: through emptiness we reach our essence.

5) Chant Mantras: and also to expand our energetic field, yes?

7) Discern conditioning: it is like deprogramming first and then re-group...

8) "You simple experience what is" - this is marvellous!!

Liara, I loved this post! Thank you for having shared this with the world!

Cheers

Max, the nature of one's queries reveals the level of self-awareness and self-created illusion. Reaching core consciousness is understood from the point where a being is no longer aware of a separateness within the self, from other human beings or from anything. Self-consciousness characterizes more people-- where fear, assumptions of impossibility or a sense of separation exist. Tapping into inner knowing means doubt dissolves and love is everything. Truth is felt and experienced beyond words.
