How do you know what it means?

When spirit present in your dreams, part of you knows the precise reasons.  Yet, part of you may still ask what  this experience brings to light about varied dimensions of reality.  What are you supposed to do with what you are given?

Your logical, human side would possibly assume a figment of imagination magnified inner fear or, just seeks to entertain. Another part of you has a different view, especially if spirit visit dreams regularly. How do you know what to get out of it?

1) Believe in a purpose. You recall dream images and subtle experiences on different levels of awareness. Each encounter has reason for presenting. You choose to attune to certain energy. Believe reason exists. More than one may also appear.

2) Meditate on it. How vivid and memorable is the encounter? What sorts of details stand out? Which colors come to mind? Note strong sensations that stay with you.  Reconnect with details using mental discipline.  Dream journals can be helpful.

3) Reconnect with Higher forces.  Do you realize angels, animal spirit guides and other, higher vibrational energies, hear your thoughts?  They protect or draw attention to different aspects of self.  You can learn to communicate more consciously using telepathy in dreams and expand from there.

4) Ask your spirit guide. These beings often have some connecton to you in a past life and thus have experience on a physical plane. They draw from their own lessons learned to assist or reorient you. Some human beings get more than one assigned at different life stages. Each one assists with lessons.

5) Accept its not black and white.  Some dream visits are fragments and do not initially make sense until you piece a series of them together. A glimpse of a color, feeling, event or sensation has stand alone meaning yet, may figure into a larger puzzle. Patience helps you identify relevant points for you.

6) Trust your gut. As a child, you believe your instincts. You do not question them until adults convince you what you sense is not real.  What they are really saying is your view is not theirs. You can rekindle and revalidate your innate skills and sensitivities by listening to your inner vibes without doubt.

 7) Learn to raise vibrations.  To ask a spirit directly who he is, and/or how you can help is easier as you learn to attune to energy.  Thus you wll also be able to dialogue and get a sense of why the spirit presents to you.  Do not pretend to fully grasp what is happening. Regardless of the energy vibration you are at, others also exist and shape different perception.

Dreams are so informative and helpful. We should never be afraid, not even of the nightmares. Each is simply meant as a visual/emotional message meant to help and guide us. Noticing what goes on in our days and our thoughts and with those around us and then remembering the dream messages can bring on the ah-ha! moments when we clearly understand a message. Also, we can see the same ebb and flow of our dream activities as in our daily ones. It's like we're living two versions of life simultaneously. Liara, I like how you explain they aren't black-and-white; I've often found multiple meanings in one dream symbol or activity.

Ian, every moment offers manifold opportunities to expand and grow. Human beings learn from each other and also from more mysterious phenomena that present more often than is noticed. You sense all you require now.

Dragos Roa, regardless of what you believe is real, your soul knows you are missing segments of the complete picture. The choice to remain open-minded to new experiences enables you to explore possibilities you may not have conceived before. Its never too late to expand.

Julie, what a human believes is straightforward at a given moment evolves with the consciousness of that being. That is, perception is shifting to enable you to see far more versions and interpretations of an experience that you consciously acknowledge. If you could sense everything happening everywhere simultaneously through energy vibration, then your human capacities would prompt you to fragement those vibrations. This is the way you interpret them on human terms. Other ways exist too.

This is a fascinating topic for me because my night dreams are as real as my "waking" day. I even dream through the day, just like I do at night

Something that happens more at night is that I am not only conscious while I sleep, whether I am dreaming or simply thinking/feeling (just like I am during the day - even though I am sound a sleep) but when I dream I see the dream and I see myself watching the dream and seeing how I feel a bout it, but I also will rerun a dream if I need to ponder it a bit more. Or I sometimes rerun it and change the outcome or events.

Just before I go to sleep I set my intent. Sometimes I will say that "If I dream music I won't wake and I will remember it all upon walking." Another thing I say, "If I don't fully understand a dream I want ‘you’ to help me more fully understand it. Guide me through it." The "YOU" that I speak of is the presence I've been in touch with ever since I embraced my emptiness, my nothingness, and within that nothingness I heard a voice "You are not alone, Robin. I am with you." I've been in communion with that Love ever since, even in my dreams. It's who we all are.

Another intent I set might be set if I am having a challenge in my life and trying to decide what to do. It could be anything from a family challenge to learning how to paint, or create a pattern (when I was a glass artisan), or how to solve ANY problem, big or small. So right before going to sleep I would say, "Show me where my path lies" OR "Show me some patterns for the glass fusing project I'm working on." OR "I would like to dream more music." OR “I invite you to heal me."

The presence -- so vast and infinite -- that I commune with is not only in my dreams but with me throughout my days. I can only describe it as complete Love. It is everything and nothing. And I see it in everything and everyone, everywhere I go. And I moved to tears....even now.

Thank you for the gift in inviting me and others to share here.
Love,
Robin

You often talk of human beings as if seperate from your self. Do you consider your self a human being?

Or does this imply that you channel your information to share with others?
March 9, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterNatural Moments
Robin, dreams do enable human beings to detect different levels of emotion, awareness and degrees of purpose. One's state of evolving consciousness influences the lessons you choose to discern, retain and transcend.
March 9, 2009 | Registered CommenterLiara Covert
Natural Moments, human beings remain in the physical world for the period required to learn certain lessons. Some people believe the lessons they will learn are chosen and intended before birth, even if the exact life choices and experiences are a function of free will.

As an energy being moves between and among vantage points internal and external to the physical body, changes in awareness and soul consciousness occur. The views shared on this site have evolving origins. You may choose to read the author's forthcoming book Self-Disclosure. The book cover is located in your right-hand column.
