It is all you

Brace yourself.  How you view life is like a gauge for your expectations.  It all comes back to conditioning, that is, what you assume you can do (or not).  If you believe all is imposed by your entourage and role models, you temporarily forget that ever-present inner companion called the ego.  Imagine what happens as limitations dissolve and doubt falls away.

Watch what happens as you realize that your perceptions shape your expectations.  Watch how you feel about and experience abundance as you alter how you view the world.  Notice how shifting from mental images of scarcity to prosperity is merely a thought away.  Feel directly how changing your thoughts raises esteem, self-worth and all you allow self to see.

"When you realize there is nothing lacking, the whole world belongs to you." -Lao Tzu

Flexibility serves you

Reflect on occasions where circumstances do not pan out as you initially envision.  How do you feel about this? Being flexible serves you. Notice what it feels like to resist the way things unfold. Notice how much easier it feels to adjust to changing conditions when you are not attached to particular outcomes. Feel your way to the right choice.

"Nothing is softer and more flexible than water, yet nothing can resist it." - Lao Tzu

Notice what is restored

People may wish to draw your attention to what is not going right in the world.  They tell you what appears imbalanced in their lives and in yours.  Do you take their word for it?

As you give up all your thoughts, something happens.  The judgmental filter no longer clogs the flow.  You stop imagining how you would like things and start experiencing things as they are.  You stop limiting what the senses convey and allow yourself to see beyond them.

Ever wonder what is the quickest way to get from here to here? Stop saying that's easier said than done.  Simply be that.  Notice what is restored, healed, complete and aligned.

"In stillness, the world is restored." -Lao Tzu

Tap into inner wisdom

Regardless of your current situation or focus, you create it to learn and you are ready to access inner wisdom. In this moment, you may hesitate, hearing different voices that beckon your attention.  Perhaps you know what its like to feel torn, to question or self-doubt.  After all, how do you know what is the best guide? Consider these tips:

1) Know the value of waiting:

"Do you have the patience to wait until the mud settles and the water is clear?" Can you wait until the right action arises by itself?" - Lao Tzu

2) Be aware of what you think and feel:

"You must know what you are feeling. If you don't know what you are feeling, you will create (or act) unconsciously." - Gary Zukav

3) Notice everything can be reduced to love versus fear:

"only two emotions exist in the Physical Universe - LOVE and FEAR. All other emotions are just variations. LOVE is the emotion associated with a 'knowing' that everything in the Universe is an expression of a singularity (i.e. God) and is therefore interconnected, whereas FEAR is the emotion underlying the perception (i.e. illusion) of being separate from God." -Alex Paterson

4) Recognize love does not rationalize or argue

"feel the presence in your heart, and to know that this presence embodies the blessings, compassion, energy, and wisdom." - Sogyal Rinpoche

"There is no fear in love but perfect love drives out fear." -1 John 4: 18

5) Identify the choice that is true to who you are:

"Nothing in life is to be feared. It is only to be understood." -Marie Curie

"Don't try to understand love. Move into love.  Then you will know and that knowing will come out of your experiencing." - Osho

6) Recognize what brings harmony to heart and mind:

“Follow the Eightfold Path, that is to say: Right view, right aim, right speech, right action, right living, right effort, right mindfulness, right contemplation.” -Buddha

7) Detach from outcome

"Those who are attuned to the truth, remain balanced and detached forever."
-Sri Guru Granth Sahib

Notice who's worldly wisdom stands out for you at this moment.  Everyone is a mirror inviting you to listen deeper to what the spirit echos.  Consider universal wisdom speaks through everything.  Notice what you are ready and willing to hear of the truth.

"Only that in you which is me can hear what I'm saying." -Baba Ram Dass

Know the power of release

For everything, there exists a season. You may reach stages in life when you sense inner conflict and contemplate accepting the discomfort or, ignore it as long as you can. Whatever you believe and fear becomes what you perceive.  This also what you come to think you learn and unlearn or let go.   Notice what else is happening.

There is no conflict when you focus attention on what is consistent and real. The mind's decision about what is real does not change the truth. As you outgrow ego perceptions and willingly shift focus, you can also abandon what is felt as the source of conflict.  Know the power of releasing what is not you. That which remains is nothing.

"To hold, you must first open your hand. Let go." -Lao Tzu
