Dale Beaumont & interview to inspire dreams

Dale Beaumont is a young Australian whose incredible energy and prolific writing inspire others to reconnect with their own inner passion.

After reading about him and hearing The Creative Penn Podcast with Joanna, I approached him to share insight about what makes him tick. He collaborates to empower people to write their own way to success.

Dale, when did life truly begin for you?

Sydney, Australia, June 1981. That's when I was born.

After highschool, you wrote, The World at Your Feet. That set the stage for the dream you live through the 'Secrets Exposed' series. Sketch some highlights;

The first book released into stores in November 2005. By late 2007, I told Growth Business Magazinea total of 15 ‘Secrets Exposed’ books had been released, and 200,000 copies sold. Incredibly, 11 of those 15 books were published in 2007.

You marvel readers with such accomplishments. Which 5 things most influnce or inspire you?

1. My wife Katherine. She has a great business brain and always knows the right thing to say at the right time.

2. Meeting the hundreds of inspiring people who are part of the ‘Secrets Exposed’ book series.

3. Being an elite Gymnast 7 years and having a great coach who always let me know I was capable of achieving more.

4. Being involved in Network 21, a training company that offers great seminars in personal and leadership development.

5. Working with teenagers – they never cease to amaze me with their creative spirit and desire to make a difference.

Why create the 'Secrets Exposed' series? I mean, what is the real purpose or motivation behind this project?

Its about helping people to get up-close and personal with highly-successful individuals, providing a medium to discover inspirational stories, what drove them to achieve and how they approach challenges in life and business.

People we admire started in exactly the same place. The vast majority didn’t come from privileged backgrounds. They had very rocky roads with misadventures and personal obstacles.

High-achievers take the time to really think about what they want, and then don’t compromise and sell out when things get a little tough. Also, successful people commit to continual growth. They understand the power of simple positive steps.

That insight really hits home for a lot of people. Its commonto be confused about why you are not in a situation like someone you admire. You suggest everyone is exactly where he needs to be now.

As it happens, my next book covers 730 inspirations to help readers realize they are awakening skills inside based on who they admire. 365 Daily reflections offer glimpses into mentors' lives according to theme, my connection and universal lessons. As you imply, we learn from each other, based on remaining open and creating opportunity.

In any event, what brought you to your current mindset in your own writing process?

While working with teenagers, I always sayonly two ways exist to live – one is through ‘trial & error’ and the other is by ‘following a recipe’. I discovered that whatever you want, chances are, someone is already living it. They have already invested the time, effort, and moneyto succeed. So sure, you can go out and do it all yourself or, you can find someone who already has results and ask him to share what he has learnt.

How would you describe your view of 'success?'

For me, success is; Balance, Happiness and Impact.

Firstly, there are many different facets to a person’s life. It is a waste of time being a multi-millionaire if you’re unhealthy, your marriage is in taters, you have a poor relationship with your kids and you do nothing for your community – really, what is the point. I believe that for a person to be truly successful they must take some time to focus on each aspect of their life. It doesn’t mean every area needs to be a perfect 10 (nobody’s is), however it is important to keep things balanced and in the right perspective.

Secondly, people need to focus on doing things that are going to make them happy. Don’t wait because weeks quickly become months and months quickly become years! Maybe it is a dream holiday with the family, taking up a sport or hobby or time with special friends. Remember this saying, “Success is not the key to happiness. Happiness is the key to success.”

Thirdly, at the end of our lives, I believe that we should be able to say ‘I gave more to the world than I took from it’. So for me, making a difference and having an impact on people is an important thing. And I really see the things that I am doing now as just the beginning.

Where is the 'Secrets Exposed' series expanding?

The series has expanded into Asia already– specifically the markets of Singapore, Malaysia and Brunei. Then, there is New Zealand.  Of course, I can’t take the soul credit. It really has been a team effort.

One hears popular seminars have developed out of these books, but tell us about the business.

Outside of the ‘Secrets Exposed’ books and seminars, we have continued to grow our first business, Tomorrows Youth International, and I set up a new website (www.GetPublishedSecrets.com) to show people how to successfully make money with their own book ideas.

In a nutshell, what do you recommend to people who are on their own path to creating success?

Nothing happens overnight.

After school, I attended loads of personal development seminars. After 9 months of earning and learning, I established my first business called Tomorrows Youth. Three years later, I created the Secrets Exposed series.

Everyone is a mentor

I didn’t really have a single coach or mentor in early days of my business. I had a whole host of people that I could call on when I needed help. That was one of the great things about attending lots of seminars, you get to meet a lot of people – all with their own area of expertise. I honestly had over 100 meetings in that first year of business. It was the best business education I could have received.

Expect setbacks

My first year of business, I was 19 and naive. I didn’t really have any fear. I think I was running on pure adrenaline. Having the support of my best friend, as my business partner, was pretty cool. Thankfully, I am blessed with good self-esteem and I am highly confident in my abilities. I always asking people for help and take lots of action.

Thanks Dale. Your insight is timeless and energy catching. As the Managing Director of Dream Express International Pty. Ltd., you offer a wealth of wisdom.  We are grateful to learn from this experience and feel inspired to stretch ourselves. I encourage readers to consult these websites and the 'Secrets Exposed' books.  Dale is also on Twitter.

Raise your frequency & redefine success

As you realize energy expands from your personal vibration, you grow aware that conscious intention brings into being and also dissolves all experience.  Situations arise not because you attract them. You choose to identify what is already available within your energetic field. As you notice the mind and soul are aligned, everything you focus on is part of your normal.

Notice why you are fighting or searching.  As the searching stops, the thinking also stops.  You come full circle.  Consciousness is never absent. You recognize who you are and feel success.  Thinking is triggered by emotion.  Both can seem like noise.  These are categories you create, merely versions of reality. You step back to realize you think yourself into being.

Take this further. As you learn to engage more consciously with abilities and opportunities you already have, you also begin to detach from feelings and patterns that do not serve you, like fear. As you reinforce a perception of reality that uses unlimited love to help others, you glimpse directions that empower, encourage and inspire the self too. When choices grow from love, they build higher frequency. This nurtures faith in intuition. The mind expands.

In my case, one example of loving myself echoes in writing. A turning point for me was when I submitted a piece to a peer review. That led to being invited to a conference in a foreign country to share my insight, and genuinely value others' work. Positive energy reverberrated when I met a man in a public bus. Trust and the universe responds.

Anyone familiar with The biggest risk ever series of posts knows core energy vibration rises consistently as you trust the loving voice of intuition. When you sense something with all your heart and soul, you move from believing to a state of knowing your own hidden treasure. This soul journey is ever-present as events unfold in different areas of your life.

Notions of success are all about being present in a given moment.  As you shift consciousness, a given experience expands to take on greater dimension, significance and unexpected teaching roles. You never stop learning about the power of compassion and doing 'the right thing.' It accelerates vibration, frequency and the will to promote greater transparency. The experiment is your life.  Notice what fuels your human journey under all mental activity.

At this moment, part of the mind is clear and part of it is not.  You may still exert more energy than you need to in certain relationships or work situations. You tolerate more than successful people around you seem to and yet, you are discerning a growing capacity that is helping.  You are realizing you need not lower your core energy vibration. This happens when you permit emotion to control you. To choose instead not to sacrifice creative self-expression will bring people into your life who raise your frequency. It is already happening.  Success is reinfoced by energy to which you are receptive.

5 Tips to move beyond intimidation

The vast majority of human beings experience something called initimidation. This is often understood as allowing someone in a perceived position of authority to make you feel less than you are. Consider these ideas to move beyond intimidation and outline stepsto get your life back;

1) Recall Eleanor Roosevelt. This former U.S. first lady is known for this gentle reminder: "nobody can make you feel inferior without your consent." As you opt to be taken in, you give away power.  Rest assured, you can also take it back.

2) Learn to see it for what it is. If someone seems to force you into some behaviour, they do not.  You imagine fear to deter yourself for some underlying reason. The person who appears to coerce or threaten you draws to the surface feelings of inadequacy, insecurity and fear. To be willing to inflate someone's ego mirrors what you do to your own. An egoist is more interested in himself than you.

3) Recognize superiority is overrated. Some people would say superiority and inferiority do not exist. From this perspective, they are imagined states of being based on your level of confidence, shyness or brainwashing. These llusions dissolve the moment you stop believing power matters.

4) Transcend the smoke screen. When someone acts to push you around and you allow emotion to control you, you get distracted by a smokescreen. If you are building a business and taking market share, a competitor may be willing to do anything to regain clients.  As you shift focus to servicing clients and satisfying needs, you learn people who voice threats attract negative energy. Dishonesty does not pay.

5) See the homour in it. As you raise awareness, you begin to realize the mind plays tricks to help you learn. You find yourself so fascinating you permit yourself to get wrapped up in illusion. John Bradshaw says, "Ego is to the true self what a flashlight is to a spotlight." How you behave without knowing why becomes funnier as you evolve to sense mind games. It plays hide and seek to remind you the lighter side of existence.

Build faith in your success

Your day evolves, moment-by-moment, not based on what you do, but on how you think and how aware you are in any kind of circumstance.  The nature of confidence and trust that you are building within yourself brings you back to the present and the reality of your success.  What do you fathom as implications?

1) Success is now.  People often convince themselves that success is a thing to work toward in the future. They forget time obscures reality and reasons to be grateful. To disregard measures of time enables you to tap into synchonicity.

2) Perception limits reality. How you think about where you are shapes how you view what you do and whether you choose to change. Your perception shifts as you consciously recognize you limit success to what is measured by your familiar senses.

3) Purpose deepens before it is grasped. Learning more about who you are is the underlying reason for everything.  Achieving what you set out to accomplish draws attention to outcomes. You uncover two, inter-related core motivations.

4) Inner alignment is expanding. As you move to focus on quality rather than quantity in experience, you begin to realize you dwell on energy that acts as the backdrop of everything.  Your field of awareness is expanding beyond self-created limits. Success loses its form and you sense loving feelings.

5) Awareness is the key focus. The nature of your journey evolves from this moment and everything you discern about it. To feel capable of linking more than one view of success is part of transformation. You reconcile mental, physical and spiritual growth and grow aware of interconnectedness.

6) Cycles reshape success. Transitions are always unfolding. Every event is created so that some new experience arises. Each stage invites learning.  You become more and then feel like less. You gain possessions, experiences, relationships and gradually lose, sell or give them all away.  Life grows and contracts and the physical body does the same. You are form now and return to formless worlds from whence you came.

Overflow with new ideas

As a person evolves to discover a lack of perceptible fulfillment despite his achievements, that person realizes his quest is redirected.  Seeking something is not the same as finding it, relishing and sustaining it.  To begin to sense something within is out-of-balance is a step to re-aligning.

1) Think less and feel more.

2) Refine and sharpen your senses.

3) Learn to be fully attentive to every moment.

It is widely believed that you must become rich to be happy.  The kind of wealth that people generally seek is not the kind that serves them. How expensive or simple your desires affects everything. What are the treasures you already have?

One belief is that the secret to happiness does not depend on having more.  Rather, it grows from nurturing unconditional love and self-acceptance, and the capacity to enjoy less.

As you evolve, you are aware the mind creates fewer illusions to defend. You attune to your physical body to keep grounded in present moments. The mind lures you away from the now. Whenever you wish to grab your own attention with urgency, just scare yourself. The gesture jolts you back to here and now.
