Set your mood to set the stage for success

Your mood tells you a lot about the kinds of of subjects activated in your mind.  What you think about is what you will experience. You set your mood and this sets the stage for events you invite and expect. Whatever your perceived reality, or sense of success right now, your mood can be consistently changed, if you choose.

You may not realize you don't deliberately offer thought, but gravitate to think about whatever happens around you. When did you last review your mood or "emotional point of reference" for success? Its in your interest to examine any emotions that prevent or hold you back from realizing dreams. Consider these five questions:

1) What might trigger insecurity? If you had an experience where you lost a deal or someone you loved, it may have escalated to where you now expect negative or undesirable outcomes. You may always worry when someone you cherish travels, imagining you will lose another person or something else you value. Reflect back and work through reasons for such feelings. What would it require to feel secure?

2) What might trigger emotional vulnerability? If you've ever had relationships where you were 'let down,' exploited, betrayed or, attracted unreliable people, then your abilities to trust and delegate may have been affected. Why might you see yourself as a victim? As you seek greater success in your relationships, its advisable to begin with a review of self-acceptance, self-image and self-worth. If you're unhappy, how can you expect other people to feel happy or complete with you?

3) What might trigger health fears? If you generate fear regarding any aspect of your health, then you stifle health and healing. Did anyone you know experience major pain and suffering? Do you assume certain family ailments are hereditary? Do you anticipate dying young because your relatives did? How else would you explain your fear-producing reactions? If you desire health and well-being, you need to uncover why you don't think you deserve it. Reality begins and ends with you.

4) Why might you feel powerless?  You need to understand that you control what you observe, what you envision, and how you feel. Its important to resist blaming and scapegoating. Channeling energy in such directions simply deprives energy from the direction you really want. If you only respond to what you observe, then you have not yet learned that success comes from separating yourself from external events.

5) What might explain your low expectations? Are you brainwashed? Have you ever been warned you'll have trouble with your kids? that your partner will leave? that you'll never make enough money to pay bills? that you'll never change? that you aren't smart enough to learn new skills? that your physical body is worn out or will never heal? that you shouldn't expect to do better than anyone you know? Unhappy people project low vibrational energy. You can transcend it. Simply decide not to listen.

3 Reminders to shape your thoughts

Many people underestimate the value of having experiences they don't think they want.  Not only do they help you get-to-know yourself better, but they also bring you closer to understanding precisely what you do want.  Consider how success-oriented you are based on these reflections:

1) When you desire something, do you react by assuming it isn't possible? or, do you have the attitude, "where there's a will, a way can be found"?

2) When you discern an experience you want, do you start to feel unhappy that you haven't had it? or, do you begin brainstorming different ways to 'make it happen?'

3) When you admire someone for their career path or charisma, do you instinctively compare what you're not and put yourself down? or, do you choose to detect similar, budding qualities in yourself worthy of attention and mentoring?

The key is to contemplate your choices. Recognize that reflecting on your options results in a natural preference for a certain kind of thinking.  As you choose the more positive directions, they will become positive thoughts.  Creating a trend leads to consistent, self-directed efforts and meaningful results.  Ask and ye shall find.

It begins & ends with you

You won't be more successful when you get a new job, find a better relationship, experience a different lifestyle, move to a new city, win the lottery or, stumble upon more reciprocal friendships. Success doesn't come in waiting. It is experienced in becoming aware of your character, accepting who you are, and all you can be.

Don't wait for a situation to make you feel happy or complete or fulfilled. Don't go assuming a single person or opportunity can transform your life. Ask yourself whether you have been accepting people and situations as they are or, is it time for you to embrace change? You're not here to change the world. You're here to remember why you're here. That means, accessing your core self and embracing it.

Success is something you know as you learn to love yourself. It comes through empowerment and recognizing you live your life on your own terms with all the consequences that come with free will.  The truth of the matter is that you go through periods of advancement.  You learn what it means to take two steps forward and three steps back.  You discover the power of love is far greater than the power if fear or the power of anything else you permit to have a hold on you.

Unless your heart is open, unless you are seeking in your own life to move past what you have experienced before, the kinds of people you have permitted to hold you back and the kinds of conditions that muffle your personality, will continue to hold you back.  You will not put yourself in situations where you can manifest and exemplify your most loving potential.  At any given moment, decide whether you will accept people and conditions with an open, forgiving heart.

Success just beyond your scope

Success begins as a decision inside you. It may be time to re-evaluate the rules that guide your life. A sense of success grows from your awareness of inner energy and potential. Where you think you are or what you have done to reach this moment doesn't mean you have tapped into thoughts and feelings that truly sustain you. You become what you think about. How you live today results from your vision, your old desires. Do they work for you? How would you like to expand on the life you know?

Now, you only live in a physical body. You have a job and interact with people in different ways based on what you imagine you will do. You choose how you wish to see yourself and how you will experience your life. Stop there. You are the architect, the draftsperson and designer, the choreographer and scriptwriter. Ever heard the phrase, "all the word's a stage?" Well, you're up there in the light. It's your show. Success unfolds like a choose-your-own adventure. After all, "It's your life!

In a nutshell, everything about the life you lead, the roles you perform, reflect your unconscious view of success. If you sense failure, or mistakes, they may also represent levels of experience and success.  New kinds of success are always around the corner for you.  You build on what yuou think you know.  As you evolve in your skin, your choices of roles and initiatives change. Your sense of success can evolve with you if you make decisions that are compatible with your sense of self.

On another level, you can sense your mind dictates the vibrations which determine what your physical body does and will do. These vibrations influence what you choose to perceive, what you see and don't see.  This translates into your grasp of available opportunities, the kinds of people who enter your life and show you ideas and options beyond your original scope of success. Nothing is beyond your reach so long as you desire, ask, visualize and act.  As they say, "the world is your oyster!"

The more you realize that success is connected to your source of bliss, the more you will find you add value to this world. Imagine what you will do from this day forward! What will you do? How will you seize and make the most of each moment?

4 Steps to initiate your comeback

You may measure success according to your perceived level of happiness. Which steps are you taking already to clarify exactly what this means to you? What kinds of abundance are you creating with your thoughts, you feelings, and your actions? From this moment, your life is beginning to transform in more appealing directions. How are you using your senses and mind to bring new views of your success into being?

As you choose to believe in your potential to redefine success, you can decide now is the time for you to focus on healthier habits and relationships. Your thoughts create conditions which will unfold in your life. To initiate your comeback to a better life, clear your mind or anything undesirable. Concentrate instead on these 4 steps. Decide you will hear what you need to hear, you will heighten your sensitivity to what matters and experience the good things you initially only dream:

1) Prepare a vision board. Cut out images and words that reflect the experiences you desire. If you want to travel, include images and maps of places you desire to visit. If you wish to own a house or a car, or other things, cut out images that reflect your hopes in these areas.  If you desire particular types of opportunities or people to enter your life, then include symbols to reinforce it. Look at this vision board often. Say aloud what you plan. Invite and attract it all right to you.

2) Sense favor is on its way.  Whatever your health is right now, envision that something better is in store.  Whatever the state of your business, the state of your bank account, your backyard or emotions, don't just look at what you can see. Whatever the state of your current relationships, whatever negative things people tell you to expect, whatever your previous experience in other areas of life, believe in what you desire to create and intend it to happen.

3) Utter words to create power. Saying what you want to happen reinforces dreams that begin as images in your mind. Feelings of discomfort or insecurity may poke you from inside. Yet, you can say aloud how life is better, is getting better is redefining success. Nothing is out of reach if you believe and say that you know your circumstances are going to change. There are no such thing as accidents. You sense when good things will happen. Facilitate it with words. Repeat it loud and clear.

4) Allow hope to take root in your soul. Go beyond belieiving in what your senses tell you in the present. Remind yourself your present conditions are based on your thoughts from the past.  Connect with Forces beyond you, the supernatural levels, and allow them to nurture hope in senses beyond what you typically think about. To sense faith is to allow seeds to plant themselves in your soul and influence amazing things to happen. The appropriate breaks and opportunities are already knocking on your door. The question is, are you ready to truly listen?
