10 reasons to be grateful for difficulty

Energy is in constant motion. It takes form in relationships and circumstances that encourage you to explore emotional turmoil. The universe creates situations that relate to all your choices. This is karma in tow. Not everyone grasps the basis for karma. Consider 10 reasons to be grateful for difficulties;

1) It is opportunity to challenge your anger. Negative energy hides true reasons for upset. As you identify discomfort, you grow aware of parts of personality you can change, and shift mental focus to what you want to strengthen.

2) It draws attention to buried pain. Unless you heal root causes, suffering will not change. Only self-awareness permits you to reframe and heal painful memories. Knowing about your emotions and why you create them enables you to compare what you created before to how you feel now so you learn to create different feelings. This is a meaningful healing process.

3) It encourages you to heal a competitive nature. The desire to compete, to accept a challenge, to fight a court case, to defend your belief of innocence in any argument, all reflects deep-seated fear. Unless you address core reasons for inadequacy and insecurity, you fight misplaced battles you do not win. From the soul view, only love exists. It teaches how ego and emotion are measures of unacknowledged pain.

4) It suggests you to stop viewing self as victim. Contrary to popular belief, every experience you encounter is appropriate at a given moment. On some level you may not be aware of yet, you deserve every experience you get. When you do not choose to let go of expectations, you resist forgiveness of self and others and refuse to surrender to the moment.

5) It invites you to give up judging. No situation is good or bad. You attribute labels based on misunderstandings. You discover judgments obscure the truth. This  perpetuates discomfort and inner restlessness. You resist unconditional self-acceptance. You learn judging mirrors what you do to self.

6) It teaches how the soul communicates. Difficulty is soul's way of telling you healing is required. The remedy is not to withdraw from sources of hardship, but to realize how you contribute to them and learn to search inside the self for causes of apparent pain.  You are guided to speak from the heart rather than listen to ego-mind.

7) It teaches you to learn trust. Every experience is a test for awareness and faith in what you do not understand.  You are reminded it is not always clear why you exist right now. What matters is that you discern which parts of you prevent you from using your gifts to the best of your ability.  To develop deeper emotional awareness empowers you to make more responsible choices.

8) It teaches you escape is not the answer.  Part of you gets confused when you do not experience joy, harmony and enthusiasm.  Choosing to avoid difficulties simply means the emotions underneath them will create new hardships to get your attention until you listen. 

9) It brings out support in those around you.  Uncondtional love and support surround you in unseen ways, regardless of your actions.  Perceived difficulties also invite empathy and understanding from people you know and do not. They offer love and support.  This teaches you what soul wants you to do-to love and accept all of self. 

10) It prepares you to handle other hardship.  In some sense, each obstacle you face and work through can make other ones less intimidatng and easier to manage. You gain confidence as you reach each milestone.  You sense meaning and purpose in each hurdle.  Inner changes have already begun.  As you consciously intend harmony, cooperation and service to others, then you realize you exist to experiment with your life.  You figure out how to get out of vicious circles.

Choose to carry a lighter load

 As you evolve to accept what is, you are in the process of lightening an emotional load that disrupts your inner peace and natural composure.  You may not yet discern the reasons for your fear. Part of your lessons involve identifying what is and is not important.  Consider what it means to choose to carry a lighter load;

1) Discard the illusion of insecurity. Security is unconditional, ever-present love. Every human being can access it anytime, anywhere.  This includes you.

2) Decide forgiving also means understanding.  To learn to forgive does not mean you forget what has changed you. As you nurture different levels of compassion, you permits love to flow into every orifice, cell and part of you.

3) Recognize conceit is a face of fear.  One fundamental lesson is to eliminate all fear form the mind. This distraction takes different forms. As you move beyond distractions, you edge closer to equality, coexistence, harmony and all the love this entails.

4) Review what you have been given.  You have been given knowledge, conditions and assets that you misunderstand or miss altogether. This moment offers new opportunities to be grateful for what you have missed because the learning curve continues.

6 Ways to create synchrony and wealth

Wealth can be felt as the awareness of and interconnection among at least six areas of your life. You can sense how these areas influence how you think and interpret what is unfolding.  Discern with gratitude. This opens you up to sense new dimensions of happiness. You benefit from recognizing how you decide what to think and feel.  Your beliefs determine what you see happening, not what is.

The universe moves constantly. You influence events you perceive. Your thoughts and depth of self-understanding initiate purposeful visualisation and action. This isn't about getting things. Its about being receptive to the wealth that is already available to you.  No matter where you are or what your conditions, you can take responsibility, recognize synchrony and progress into deeper wealth. 

Exercise: list things you feel enrich your life. At a bare minimum, aach of the following areas requires attention for you to feel your way into true wealth: 

Financial- Go further than visualize paying today's bills or meeting basic needs. Imagine what you do with lots of money. Be specific. How can you provide value or serve? Behave as though you already live an abundant life and abundance comes to you in varied forms. Connect with your soul. Sense a better life is already within reach. Be receptive. Act like you are wealthy. What does this feel like?

Relational-Go further than imagine a mediocre situation or accepting your relationships that evoke discomfort. Go deeper. Know everyone you encounter invites you to love yourself more. Celebrate people in your life. Notice they enrich you. If you envision more attention, affection or intimacy, set the example.

Physical-Go further than imagine what it would take you to lose 10 more pounds, or to fit into a new outfit.  Move beyond external appearances. Go inward.  Realize what you've learned about your self-image. Accept yourself more fully.  Tell yourself you have the discipine to get more active, and do it.

Spiritual- Go further than envisage a connection to Forces beyond you. Open your perception and recognize what you had thought were coincidences are really cases of meaningful synchonicity.  See how you already feel connected to things you're unable to explain. Reach out to discover what you can do to feel even more connected. Wealth has levels of invisible and immeasurable joy. 

Emotional-Go further than simply brush those negative feelings under the carpet.  Envision how you wish to feel.  Show yourself what happiness and joy feel like.  Do that. Choose to spend time on those activities that boost your energy, get your juices flowing and make your life more fulfilling. 

Intellectual- Go further than describing what you need to learn for the next test at school or business meeting, or what you might wish to know to raise your kids for another year. What kind of learning would really motivate you? Where would you like to go to learn? What materials would you need? Why does the subject drive you? Tap into reasons for enthusiasm and expand on your sense of wealth.
