Be kind to yourself

When was the last time you truly noticed how you treat yourself? Listen to the words you use. Are you kind? Are you understanding? Do you accept, resist or reject what is happening? Do you get easily uptight? This is an invitation to care.

Open your heart.  Allow yourself to feel your way through the inner messages you are sending. What if every time you communicate to the world, you are actually inviting yourself to love more unconditionally? Laugh uncontrollably.

“People are often unreasonable and self-centered. Forgive them anyway.
If you are kind, people may accuse you of ulterior motives. Be kind anyway.
If you are honest, people may cheat you. Be honest anyway.
If you find happiness, people may be jealous. Be happy anyway.
The good you do today may be forgotten tomorrow. Do good anyway.
Give the world the best you have and it may never be enough. Give your best anyway.
For you see, in the end, it is between you and God. It was never between you and them anyway.”

What if you open your perception?

Wherever you are right now, consider how your perspective shifts as you choose to open to invisible or great mysteries.  Balance and harmony exist inside everyone but sometimes people forget.  How do you empower the self to reconnect with qualities that may hide?

Notice what kinds of symbols and behaviour reinforce and mirror yoru perception.  How is it reflected back?  Being true to your inner essence sometimes requires a process of remembering and forgetting.  Even now, you take steps to transform your life experience.

What is evolution?

Identity is loudly drilled into you by the ego mind.  From this vantage point, you evolve based on conditioned expectations.  In the same moment, who you are is revealed quietly in the heart.  Every human is trained to fear, deny or postpone expanding into the unconditional love.  Alignment of the heart and mind is one perspective of evolution.

All-the-while, you may sense different ways exist to grow and develop.  You are taught to build on what you are taught.  Another kind of evolution involves letting go of all that to make room for what is always here.  How does a person open his heart? Listen to the vibration of inner peace of soul. Put yourself in a place of silence.  What do you notice?

How you think does not truly determine what you feel. As you remove the mind from your perspective and trust intuition, then you shift focus back to the breath and heart.  You exist to recognize you outgrow beliefs and see beyond them.

Heart is fluid and mind is rigid. The heart feels its way to the truth wheras the mind echos its own judgmental view.  As you open to Self-disclosure, and explore potential for changes within, you detach from logic and feel transformative.  As you allow unconditional love to flow freely, you move from evolving to remembering what is.

"In order to evolve, you must stand still long enough for your Heart to have a Conversation with your Brain." -Erin Dalli

What does a mirror tell you?

There was once a monk who would carry a mirror where ever he went. This action drew the attention of a particular priest who grew convinced the monk must be misguided.

A priest noticed this repeatedly and thought to himself, "This monk is so preoccupied with the way he looks he has to carry that mirror all the time. He should not worry about the way he looks on the outside, it's what's inside that counts." The priest felt it made sense to take steps to guide the monk to the light.

So, the priest went up to the monk and asked "Why do you always carry that mirror?" The priest thought for sure the monk's response would reveal misplaced ego and guilt.

The monk pulled the mirror from his bag and pointed it at the priest. Then he said, "I use it in times of trouble. I look into it and it shows me the source of my problems as well as the solution to my problems."

What does a mirror tell you?

"All men should strive to learn before they die what they are running from, and to, and why."

10 Steps to recall love as it is

Humanity has selective amnesia about the essence of love. This is not the feeling you learn about. Awakening and direct experience speak.  Explore these 10 steps to sense love as is;

1) How does love guide your mission & how you treat others?

2) When you reflect, whom or what have you loved?

3) Who do you love deeply? How does hate teach you love?

4) Where and when have you felt true love?

5) What awakens love energy within you?

6) How does your body change through knowing love?

7) Why does love honour your physical journey?

8) What does it take to hold a vision of loving intent?

9) Who do you know who needs awaken to love gently?

10) How does love permit you to stop fearing the unknown?

“Love is patient; love is kind
and envies no one.
Love is never boastful, nor conceited, nor rude;
never selfish, not quick to take offense.
There is nothing love cannot face;
there is no limit to its faith,
its hope, and endurance.
In a word, there are three things
that last forever: faith, hope, and love;
but the greatest of them all is love"

-Bible
