3 Tips to Live a more congruent life

Notice what happens when you focus energy and attention on uncovering your purpose.  You may be surprised to remember that this evolves with you and changes at different life stages. Reflect on these three tips to live a more congruent life;

1. Be present

The more you are present to your emotional reactions and other responses to life’s experiences, the more intimately you get-to-know yourself.  The deeper and more conscious your relationship with yourself, the more congruent you’ll be able to live your life in ways that feel fulfilling.  Your life’s value, is not based on an arbitrary number in your bank account, but rather, on the experiences you live and the time you devote to being fully conscious during those experiences.

2. Listen to intuition

Intuition is the language of the soul. True listening is about tuning in to this frequency, being aware of what sparks your curiosity and interest, jumping on opportunities that present and knowing everything you choose to notice is itself a sychronicity or stepping stone to more joy.

3. Pay attention to relationships

Every encounter, friendship and longer relationship is a soundboard for your own authenticity. People show up on your radar, come and go in your life, to help you see and better understand yourself. Congruency inspires congruency and vice versa. Notice who do you spend the most time with. How are they empowering or disempowering you? Do they inspire you to be true to you?

The key to living a fulfilling life is being congruent with your Soul purpose. - Liara Covert

Notice what is obvious

Notice what is obvious and "to whom".  Notice who is asking the question and who answers.

The ego mind has limited or selective awareness.  It sees the dream through conditioned filters.  It shifts attention between the past and future.  It judges and compares, sees body parts, people and conditions as separate, and even creates hierarchies of what is thought to be better or worse, more or less desirable.  This is the rebel, fault-finder and people-pleaser, always seeking to improve or find something out of reach or sight.  It attaches or clings and sees things as you are or through the lens of adopted thought, self-image and beliefs.

The omniscient observer sees all and judges nothing right in this very moment. It views through a lens of unconditional love and acceptance. It views everything as a mirror of pure peace, joy and love. In essence, it see things as they are, and feels everything points to this truth. It feels what is real and sees through what is unreal. It is the silent and ever-present guide home.  It knows clarity and enlightenment are never lost. It knows the essence of being cannot lose itself or be anything other than authentic. It is light, joy, freedom and all that direct experience reveals beyond words and associations. It only sees what it feels.

Notice being here

Notice how it feels to be fully present.  Notice to what (if anything) you give your full and complete attention at this stage of your life.  How does it feel? What is the core message?

Consider how you are conditioned to multitask, to only partly listen or partially hear what is being spoken to you, only partly notice signs from your own body, mind and spirit.  Which lessons emerge from not fully listening? from not being conscious in a given situation?  Notice every experience serves you and self-concern until awareness shifts. Feel what resonates now.

"Few people can say:I am here.  They look for themselves in the past or see themselves in the future." -Georges Braque

Let go of what is not you

Notice what happens as you let go of what is familliar, palpable and predictable.  Notice what urges you to cling and attach.  Notice what or whom captures your unwavering attention at this stage.  Silence and nothing actually speak loudest without the use of words.  Notice what is real and to whom.  Listen to that which has no name, revealing itself as ever-present.  Let go of what is not you.  Be still.  Feel the nature of balance.  Sense underlying meaning in all questions.

"You can only lose what you cling to." -Buddha

Treasure is here and now

Notice the mind has you focus attention anywhere but the present moment.  The mind tells you that what you want is within reach, is something to work toward.  Yet it distracts you from the gift of being.  Direct experience offers treasures found in the pocket and heart.

What happens as you recognize the ultimate gift is being who you are right now? There is nobody to blame. Forgiveness is unnecessary. Nothing is required for loving and appreciating the priceless treasure that is.  The essence of being knows nobody judges you but yourself. Watch what happens as you do not identify with anything. Unlearn, let go and be.  Harmony with divine nature and true presence already are.

"Every problem has a gift for you in its hands." - Richard Bach
