8 ways to stop resisting change

Humans are encouraged to love every being, including themselves. This seems to require a stretch beyond what most people think is possible. Universal acceptance implies respecting all views about physical, mental, emotional, spiritual sides, and dimensions you may not yet acknowledge or even consciously register.

At this moment, if you are unwilling to adjust your views or unsure how to be more receptive to the unfamiliar, then you could dream the ideal. You could change. Why do people resist change or shifts in their beliefs? Consider these eight ways to stop resisting change. How and where do you relate?

1) Reframe discomfort. Everybody creates mental, spatial and other comfort zones. Examine yours. Why feel awkward when people get too close or, offended by ideas that oppose your principles? Why doubt an event because you have not shared a similar experience or when you are unable to explain it? Your feelings reveal levels of flexibility and rigidity. They are clues to deeper fears, resentment and views worth attention.

2) Transcribe thoughts. Many people will assume things are too difficult as they are. Things you hear about the physical world may not seem to jive with your senses. You may not consciously realize your thinking process or how you doubt and deny inner signs. To journal thoughts empowers you begin to see through fears and other illusions that ego creates.

3) Choose maturity. Over-protection from disappointment prevents self-directed learning. Children will grow up without coping skills and become intimidated by the adult world. Choosing maturity enables you to learn to manage new situations. Regardless of the past, you can be willing to grow.

4) Deny history must repeat. You may be thinking, it did not work last time, or improve, so why now? As you become more conscious, you slowly dissolve misplaced assumptions. You become bold, daring. You chose to shape new events.

5) Develop mental discipline.  Memories of pain, suffering, confusion or discouragement may drown your senses. Emotion is a dimension of ego. Conditioning creates instinctive reactions that occur to a perceived threat or challenge. As you realize emotions become the body's response to a thought, you realize you can change them without filtering.

6) Tackle self-worth issues. Life events tests your levels of self-esteem. If you do not believe you are good enough, talented enough, or enough in other ways, then esteem blocks you from taking action.  You may not have been taught how to embrace life with a positive attitude.  Its never too late to learn.

7) Expand perception. As you discern peer pressure and external ideas for what they are, you realize conforming is a choice just like awakening or transcending is a choice.  To learn to release unnecessary feelings leads to unfamilar sensations.  You shift to a different state of alertness.  You rediscover what it means to be present, to attune to energy fluctuations. You confirm your reality with new thoughts. They may defy words. This is okay. Sensing expands to teach you.

8) Shatter your myths.  Part of you may wonder if your impetus for change is grounded in self-love or inadequacy. How do you know? Where you believe only change will make you happy, then inner work would be desirable to strengthen self-acceptance. How does resistance affect your life?

"Belief like any other moving body follows the path of least resistance."

7 Things you can do during dream yoga

As you explore astral dreaming, you may decide to experiment with dream yoga. If you hesitate, then you may wonder whether this is for you or, whether you do it already. On your journey to the next level, you have nothing to fear but fear itself.

Tibetans describe dream yoga as the original or basic state of lucid dreaming. They are historic masters at awakening their consciousness during dreams. Astral projecting is when you become aware of an out-of-body experience (OBEs). As you gain more conscious control of OBEs, you can become lucid.

Many methods exist to discipline the mind, deliberately induce OBEs and lucidity. As you contemplate whether this experience would appeal, or select among ones to share as comments, consider five things you can learn to do during dream yoga;

1) Manifest physical things-Based on your perception, you create external, objective physical things, and the internal, subjective physical things. Sights, sounds, smells, tastes and sensations are the external or objective physical things. The five base senses are the subjective of internal physical things.

2) Discriminate among feelings& shift recognition. You choose to experience positive, negative or indifferent energy. Then, you shift to identify particular things. This mental recognition exercise moves from unconscious to conscious. You bring the process to the surface and become observer.

3) Explore different planes. You visualize a particular place in all its detail and go there, whether you have heard of it and visited there before or whether your imagination conjured an image from somewhere.  Your mind sharpens the texture.

4) Dialogue with enlightened beings- You interact with beings of higher awareness on dream planes and different levels of awareness.  You  only release what you learn into conscious awareness when these beings sense you are ready.

5) Meet with other sentient beings- When you mobilize your mind, you can actually intend to meet other sentient beings in designated places. That is, while your physcial body is at rest, your astral body can be directed elsewhere. Its also possible to explore other dimensions, realms, and bodies and log them all.

6) Unpack your paradoxes.  You evolve to realize all conditioned ideas in waking life are lying to and about the awareness that knows them.  You await your own soul-level process of conscious awakening, trigger a domino effect and watch.  Then move beyond the watcher.

7) Dissolve or transcend the dream states. As you detach consciously from the physical body (recognize you are lucid) and detach from the dreaming mind (become observer to your dream within dream), then you move to observe the purest form of conscious awareness.  This is that level where you become aware of an emptiness and become aware of the nature and dimensions of the reality behind everything. Opportunities exist to move through many levels of dream states.

How do you discern with your eyes closed?

You may not think so much about how you take in information about your night-time dreams. After all, since your eyes are closed, you may assume you do not ingest details with your senses.  It is common for dreamers to assume they make-up everything.

Think again. What if senses you are unaware of by day are being used at night? What if consciously preventing the use of senses you use in waking life enables you to remind yourself of other abilities you have always had? Are you reading the signs?

If you take the view that you exist in an infinite space, like the idea of the holodeck on the Starship Enterprise, then you may begin to believe that your daytime senses create details to enable you to feel grounded.  Similarly, while asleep, you give yourself the freedom to do things that in waking life you brainwash yourself to believe are impossible.

For instance, many people will talk about a desire to fly.  They will share what they imagine it feels like and refer to their observations of flying creatures.  Yet, what if views of flying draw from experience of astral travel? What if removing constraints of the conscious mind enables you to expand your sense of boundaries beyond your regular imagination? What if astral dreaming is a baseline state that reveals your true identity?

Closing your physical eyes shuts out limited seeing.  It connects you with pure consciousness in the light, immerses you in the truth of who you are.  You do not think about how your daily perception actually blocks innate awareness of light.  Astral dreaming enables you to experience what ego cannot. Be like a fish.   Be awake while you sleep with eyes wide shut.

Uncover innate wisdom

To meditate on something other than the self allows widsom to reveal itself.  To discover the feeling of selflessness arises on the inside.  Are you ready to embrace experiences that demonstrate how much you love yourself?  Will you accept that all you do or do not do serves you?

Everything unfolds as is predicted, not based on the visions of self-interested people, but as is meant to be.  You will recognize when trials seem unavoidable in your life.  Yet, you will also evolve to sense trials arise and test you for good reason.  Uncover the wisdom.

To ask yourself how a given situation will improve you isn't a question to pose before an experience.  Only after you  live and learn are you in a position to reflect or grasp why obstacles stood in your path.  You create obstacles to learn to overcome each of them.

From whichever vantage point you gaze, the world and your conditions will appear different.  Yet, you are always the same being.  This shows you that only your perception and self-image change, not who or where you are.  Improvement is a state of mind.

Break the parameters of normal perception

How often have you said, "I only believe what I see," and really meant it? What do you imagine it would feel like to free yourself from limiting thought patterns?  Are you ready to taste a deeper and more intricate reality?  Is your mind prepared for all the bright light  and vibrational stimulation?

The mind can detect thought patterns that escaped your conscious awareness before.   You can evolve to see energy as it flows in the universe, how balls of energy form transparent beings of light around you.  Energy fields frame these geometric forms.  Strings seem to link their halos to infinity. Do you see humans as they really are, beneath their skin?

Let's say you detect a break in the continuity of time.  Learn what it means to interrupt your perceived flow of continuity.  Allow yourself to clarify your intent during inner silence.  You will observe and absorb something specific that defies explanation in familiar terms.  Your inner awareness of everything guides what you're ready to see and when.

Unbeknownst to your conscious mind, each thought and action you undertake is preparing  you to embrace things your linear, rational mind tells you its not ready to grasp or accept.  What would it mean if you ceased being objective and subjective? Ease into spherical time.
