Dream Analysis of the Week- Pay Debts

Dream:

I was at my grandparents' house, on their front lawn (this grandmother is deceased. We did not get along). I asked a friend (also client) I do not know well for $1000 to pay my outstanding work bills. I felt uncomfortable asking her. This friend is regarded as being in a 'cool group' and someone "everyone is meant to impress."

Insight:

Many people have unresolved relationships with money.  There is often a tug of war going on inside which echoes scarcity and abundance. This can trigger guilt and shame alongside joy and excitement, a range of emotions.

You may be questioning the nature of certain obligations and commitments you create for yourself and the stress and anxiety it evokes.  There is something you feel you can do without yet,  what hijacks your attention is deep desire to do more, go further, be seen, belong or feel accepted.

Thoughts of impressing others draw attention to insecurities and issues of self-worth. You truly want to get-along with all sides of yourself, merge fragemented parts of your psyche. Parts of you may seem dead and buried, yet they are not.  Feelings are pointers to what is alive within you. When we think we create conflicts or that others do not like us, this is simply pointing to shadows we have not yet accepted/ integrated within us.

If you feel under peer pressure, you may hide repressed anger which itself masks hidden hurt. In truth, its not others that are the issue.  Focus instead on which aspects of yourself you are rejecting. They are struggling for attention.  Rediscover what it is to be real. No need to pretend to impress people, or to get along with them.

Lawns echo all with growth potential is interconnected, and opportunities are right "in front of us" whether or not we are willing to see this. The front lawn tends to represent what you are willing to put "out there" for public view. This also implies possible fear judgement, criticism and rejection.  Reference to embarassment echoes possible hidden fears about putting something new "out there" or showing people who you truly are. Watch what happens as you imagine the worst case scenarios.  See what you are truly made of. Be real. Pay the unwritten debt to your soul.

Dream Analysis of the Week- Butterfly League

Dream:

A man was seated at a round table in a club.  Each had different deep-coloured table cloths that hung to the floor.  Seated strangers talked in hushed voices. He waved for a standing lady to come over. She smiled, wrote something on a sheet of paper and handed it to him scrunched up like a boquet as she walked away. The writing said she was " out of his league." He set the paper down under a transparent glass butterfly paperweight.  The paper rolled itself up, covering the paperweight. Then it turned into a butterfly and flew away.  Suddenly, the man was alone. everythign else vanished. He became half man, half woman, drinking from a golden cup.

Insight:

On the surface, it may seem someone or something is rejecting or not validating you, but deep down, you can only ever reject or validate yourself. Every character (man, woman, strangers) and objects are a version of you inviting you to explore shadow fears.  The matter of opposites and the failure to recognise and integrate the shadow (all that is within us that we do not know about) are responsible for all out percived problems.

Something or someone has had longstanding appeal and has also has been enriching your life experience.  Yet, as energy and priorities shift, what once held your undivided attention can lose/ has lost power and influence. Like a paperweight, it may now feel like its holding you down (or back) from your soul destiny. You are like the restless paper, ready to spread wings, fly into new freedom. This may be a turning point for letting go of attachments, emotions, karmic loops, situations that have had you feeling powerless until you awaken to truth.

Round tables highlight decisions on the horizon which can bring or maintain inner peace and harmony.   Reason to feel imbalance tends to call for reinforcement.  As a metaphor, the Knights of the Round Table were a order dedicated to ensuring the peace of Arthur's kingdom, and were entrusted with mystical quest for the Holy Grail. The Grail echoes, the hero's journey, the true spirit of Western man. It is the myth of Western civilisation.

Contemplation and silence enable the individual to allow the best of his or her own inner life to emerge. For the undisciplined person, however, ego can redirect attention into disorientation and misery, if his own defects and negative thoughts maintain control. Until we have conquered our own hidden shadows, no rest is truly given. The disciplined person relaxes and is quiet. He is in peace with life and himself, for he knows the inevitable challenges we all must face in order to grow. He gets that his greatest enemy has always been himself, and until he conquers that he can go no further. Until he does so, he will see himself as a victim of the trials and tribulations of life, which adds to the burden of his own unconscious.

On another level, the Holy Grail is a symbol of the Self, the psychic totality and ultimate wholeness of the human being. It is the vital force that drives us toward balancethe process of bringing unconscious mind into consciousness. If we are not trying to become whole, we are cut off from the true source of our being, and we feel empty. Encountering the Grail does not impart direct knowledge, but rather gives us an emotional readiness to receive a numinous experience of our inner centre. The Grail story is itself a projection of the Self as an inner centre, unrealised and inaccessible to most. It is the inner guide (God’s voice), the hidden disposition to wholeness which exists in the unconscious of each of us until awakened.

League refers to depth (i.e. 20,0000 Leagues of the Sea) as well as in distance one is willing to go to achieve a goal, solve a mystery, get to the truth, complete. a journey.  To interpret dreams, we must be willing to accept a soul's-eye view of our life. Ego goals focus on fear-based needs for food and shelter, survival for the body, food for thought, and the soul guides us to deeper spiritual sustenance.

Butterflies are insect totems and symbols of transformation. They are also short-lived like windows of opportunity to make key decisions in your life.  Just as a caterpillar transforms into a butterfly, you, too, can transform and grow spiritually. Turning into a butterfly involves more than just a physical transformation.

Dream Analysis of the Week- Famished

Dream : I was hungry. I had not eaten bread in ages. An albatross offered two slices. A scrawny me took one piece of bread shaped like a kidney and made a sandwich with layers of mango. I climbed a nearby palm to eat coconut and reach nearby fruits from there. Turned out, from the height of the tall trees, I saw I was on a deserted island. The panorama gave me a complete 360 view.

Insight:

Dreaming of hunger is often a metaphor for a lack of fulfillment. In waking life, you may reach a crossroads, a crisis or situation that you come to feel no longer serves you. This is an invitation for an unravelling. To focus on food or eating may be a distraction from other discomfort.  The conditioned mind may like to punish you for not doing enough or not meeting someone else's expectations.

An albatross is a bird that appears "out of the blue" points to an unexpected stage of spiritual awakening. This bird is an excellent navigator through all kinds of weather and storms and is known for its resilience.  This bird also represents our inner faith or trust in the higher powers of the universe. It may reminisce of a changing relationship with God and the divine, how sometimes we feel alone on our journey and yet something unseen or initially unrecognized is by our side. You do not fear traveling on your path alone as long as God is by your side.

Mango is a tempting, sweet exoitc fruit that symbolically, may echo a "man-to-go" in your life.  Hindus view mangos as the king of fruit, symbolic of the ultimate juice of life and happiness we reach for. Coconut may echo someone thinks you are a nut (crazy) yet, it is also a positive omen that points to unexpected gains, vitality, and positive developments. They can be seen as a message from your subconscious or about a "whiter" future.

A deserted island may echo your travels in tropical or exotic places. yet, its also a metaphor for unexplored areas of the mind, your psyche and trauma that may hold you back from seeing the bigger picture. Sometimes feeling alienated from a familiar circle or entourage, leaving a longtime environment, relationship or workplace, can leave us feeling disconnected from others or ourselves, like an outcast. You may have other reasons for feeling excluded or excluding yourself from a life you have outgrown.  Come what may, periods of adjustment, transition and rest are called for.

We offer Dream Consultations which can explore multiple dreams, themes, energies and even life patterns. We alos offer an Astral, Lucid and Dream Yoga Course that may resonate.

Dream Analysis of the Week- Dating

Dream:

Dreams about relationships reflect our sense of well-being and balance.  In some cultures, dating more than one person, even having more than one wife or husband, is common and acceptable.  In other cultures, monogamy is the norm and dating or having relationships with more than one person at once is viewed as unacceptable even grounds for separation or divorce.

So, dating multiple people at the same time can draw attention to indecisiveness, fear of commitment, dishonesty, fear of judgement. Reflect on what authenticity means to you (living in integrity), in relation to someone else's idea of how you should live. You may be ready to take a new level of responsibility in your life, decide what you want, regardless of norms, external advice or previous choices made to appease others.

Buildings symbolize aspects of our inner architecture, that is, how energy and emotions are flowing through us. When we are undergoing change and transformation, we may dream aspects of our life are under construction (in flux) and link this to specific rooms in our house. To remodel our home reflects the desire for or actual ongoing changes in how we define happiness and fulfillment.

To sense many rooms echos the dreamer is willing to explore the inner self further. Each room in the house may symbolize an aspect of the dreamer’s personality. There may exist some parts of the psyhe the dreamer is reluctant to explore. The dream could echo the dreamer is ready to uncover hidden emotions or thoughts. The desire to grow and expand may be in opposition to feelings of uncertainty, feeling scattered or overwhelmed.

Each room in the house could represent different emotions or psychological states of the dreamer. For example, a cluttered or chaotic room may indicate emotional turmoil, while a serene and well-organized room may reflect inner peace and harmony.  Note the character traits of the different dream characters and how you feel about them. They may each echo an aspect of your psyche. How do you feel about "braces," appearances, judgement of straight or crooked teeth? This points to possible self-rejection.

A house may also echo the dreamer's journey towards integration and wholeness. It suggests the need to embrace and accept all aspects of oneself, recognizing that each room, much like each personality trait, contributes to the overall makeup of the dreamer’s identity.

Among our services, we offer in-depth Dream Consultations which also cover a series of dreams, using dreams as tools for self-discovery.  We also offer an Astral, Lucid & Dream Yoga Course. Contact us for further information.

Dream Analysis of the Week- Crop Circles

(Image: Hand of God Nebula; source: ESA)

Dream: I dreamed crop circles are being created on the side of the moon.  The sacred geometry is willed into place by a floating finger shape that is conducting stars like a symphony.  Patterns are drawn in the air (vaccuum) and materialize magically on a cosmic rock.  They are then projected from planet to planet like a film until they materialized in particular earth grain fields. Its as if they finally know where to materialize. They only stay until they disappear.

Insight: crop circles represent communciation with your highest Self and reflects deep awareness of higher vibrational life forms.   You are tuning into suble senses and the presence of a wider reality. This invites you to pay attention to the mystical in everyday experiences.

Geometric shapes are widely viewed as highly symbolic as their configurations lead the dreamer towards inner completion or enlightenment.  Despite this, we are conditioned to seek fulfillment and success in external worlds, to nourish our own dissatisfaction, as though we are continually empty and repeatedly need filling up.  Such an insatiable hunger is perpetually unfulfilled and cannot guide us to the truth or what we truly are.

Symphonies are powerful expressions of creative energy. The presence of sound suggests the dreamer may be ready to express some strong feelings, may not know in exactly what form would be best understood to the intended audience.  It may call for an experiment, to test out and share one form of expression or another.

On a deeper level, focusing outside of us prevents or postpones subtle experiencing of Oneness that we already are.  We are in this world, but not of it.  It all comes back to facing our own mind which is the source of love as well as all of our suffering.  The process invites us to reclaim inner power over our own mind, putting that into practice, one thought and feeling at a time.

So, on some level, we are each the key to deciphering our own crop circles. Much like we can each look at a cloud in the clear blue sky and see something different, we can all tune into crop circles and allow them to guide us to hear not only the silent music of the spheres, but also our own self-created music and harmony.

Among our services, we offer Dream Consultations as well as an Astral, Lucid & Dream Yoga Course. Contact us for more details.
