5 Benefits of Astral, Lucid & Dream Yoga Course

People are asking about prospective benefits of participating in my new and upcoming astral, lucid and dream yoga course.  Here are 5:

1. Deepen understanding of Soul Progression

The process of this course is about moving further along different levels of spiral consciousness. Its about training yourself to recall dreams with more clarity, to wake up consistently during dreams, to train the mind to stay awake in dreamless sleep, and to take insight from the night to transpose it into your own daytime experience. Putting theory into practice is a key aspect of this journey.

2. See Influence of Yogic & Buddhist Tantric Traditions

According to these spiritual schools, a person is made up of multidimensional bodies.  There exist several variations but we will address 5 fields of intelligence: in Sanskrit, they are called Annamaya Kosha (food sheath), Pranamaya Kosha (sheath of prana or life), Manomaya Kosha (mind sheath), Vijnanamaya Kosha (knowledge or wisdom sheath), and Anandamaya Kosha (bliss sheath). The 5 koshas (layers) act as a roadmap for our journey of self-discovery.  By understanding and working through each, we can move into states of changing awareness toward self-realization.

 3. Develop through Breathwork

As part of each module, we will explore specific breathing techniques (and meditations) that are designed to help clear bodies and prepare the dreamer for different levels of enagement and expansion. 

4.  Explore planes of consciousness

We will explore different views on/of the astral plane, mental and causal planes, Buddhic/Intuitive/Soul plane as well as the spiritual (Atmic) planes.  The nature of individual spiritual and dream development determines which planes are explored and how.  Techniques and experiences are shared as part of the course.

5.  Activate dormant abilities

Recognition of different aspects of multidimensional nature has potential to activate dormant abilities and allow participants to function at a more optimum levels.  Tools and insights are offered. Practice, discipline are up to each individual.  This comes from being motivated to take on lessons of progressively higher levels.  Know everything is preparing us for the unforeseen.

Shift from Belief to Awareness

Notice many people talk about what they want and wonder why it all does not simply show up. Turns out, if we are not in vibrational alignment with what we are requesting, it cannot show up. This is the Universal Law of Energy in motion.
Truth is, as our vibration increases, we start to achieve and experience harmony with the universe on many levels. Some remain unseen. For those we do see, this has nothing to do with random occurrences, "getting lucky" or stumbling on the right people or opportunities. The higher or more expansive our vibration, the more we consciously control our reality, align with what resonates in our Soul.
Many ways exist to sustain a higher vibration. In essence, its about creating body-mind coherence, so the body and mind work in perfect synchrony, like an orchestra with many instruments. To align with core vibration stabilizes us on a frequency much like each of us can tune into a preferred station on a radio dial.
Come what may, attitude and consistent practices are important. This is how we rewire the brain, create new connections and simultaneously raise our energy. All this has huge consequences in the external physical world. Of course, its one thing to read about a concept. Its quite another to put it into practice and manifest directly for ourselves in real time experience. This is the path of the alchemist, the Hero's journey. That is, an energetic shift occurs from belief in heresay to awareness of what is always here and allowing it to enter our field.

Patience is a teacher

Notice the feelings evoked by words 'loneliness' and 'solitude.' It is common to fear or resist being alone. Ideas of loneliness evoke visions of boredom. So, a bored person finds another and they both take action to get through or beyond the ideas of boredom. On some level, boredom doubles. Doing has its place and provides a path to valuable lessons. It also takes one away from deeper truth.
The genius of mind creates illusionary escapes, places, illusions of togetherness. Our whole society, families, organisations, communities, hobbies, livelihoods, travel, are all escapes from visions of loneliness. Yoga is the process of growing aware of absolute loneliness and growing aware nowhere really exists to go.
Boredom is transcended by living fully in each moment as it arises. Be open to the unknown, to anything that may happen. Accept it as it comes. The denial, non-acceptance is the obstacle. To be open, receptive, to accept, is to unconditionally welcome it all. Create the situation and the happening will come by itself. Nothing truly valuable can be predicted. We cannot predict every aspect of life, yet we can set heartfelt intention, let things unfold in their own way.
To be patient is to surrender. Sit in solitude. People who resist waiting imagine the idea of certainties. They have said do this, and this will happen. The mind tells us the happening is a guarantee. Yet, in the big picture, this cannot be. Waiting lifetimes may not allow the thing to come. As one fully accepts this uncertainty, the heart settles. That is, knowing everything is happening now, is to be aware of everything as it is, to experience glimspes of the whole.
Ultimately, no one truly knows what is next. No one knows every possible path. No one knows exactly what this moment will bring. To accept what comes and make the best of it allows the best version of Self to blossom. This waiting is as easy or as hard as each of us decide. Our energy has the power to shape a new destiny, to allow us to shift timelines, dimensions or into what resonates.
