Be intensely aware

Be like a river.  It asks for nothing.  It has no direction or destination. Attention on particular directions introduces limitation.  Simply intuit what to do and which way to go. Cooperate with the inevitable, with the flow of life itself.  Be open.  Feel ways to navigate beyond what mind thinks. You start to see what you are ready to see. The flow sheds light, brings clarity, in ways that cannot be imagined.  When you are not focused on division, you surrender.

The mind is taught to focus and fixate on objects, to judge and develop dependence.  It contracts around what it can pin down.  It desires to control it.   Let go of noise.  Appreciate being unsure of what is unfolding in energy, light and unseen information.  Ease into a state of meditation on true awareness.  Introduce a question into the silent mind. BE that.

A revelation

Notice what happens from the moment you recognize that you only ever talk with yourself.  Notice what is watching and appreciating the dialogue.  If "you" is over there then who is right here, now?

Feel what its like to lose interest  in comparing between where you came from and where you are going.  Nothing always keeps "you" in sight. Everything is a mirror.  What do you see? Silence listens.

The power of sound

Music offers a range or vibrations.  What you listen to is not always what you hear. You may underestimate the power of sound to uplift, renew and restore, and also to effect your flow.

Notice music effects your mood, sense of health and well-being. Notice certain kinds of music appeal based on your thoughts and emotions. If you feel sad, do you listen to music to wallow or do you reach for sounds that enable you to feel better? If you feel under the weather, or wish to shift focus after a hard day, do you instinctively tune the radio to a specific station? Reflect on genres of music that trigger a range of emotions. What attracts and alienates you? Notice what closes you off, evokes hard feelings. What soothes the soul is soft, peaceful, harmonious.  Notice whether you tune in your thoughts and words to the frequency of well-being or talk your way out of it.  You are not your words but may come to believe them.

As you act to raise your vibration, you also sharpen senses and open to higher awareness. Everything has a vibration even if your ears do not register. Know the range of sounds you think you listen to is not the only kind of sounds you hear. Vibrations penetrate consciously and unconsciously. All sound arises in and vanishes into silence. This quiet vibration is the loudest sound many people claim not to hear. Notice what apparent lack of sound feels like.  Under which conditions or where do you sense unconditional love, balance, or acceptance?

As an energy transmitter, you relay vibrations as a form of communication. The nature of your vibration affects the clarity of your vision, senses and the depth of your imagination. Each vibration has an impact on allowing or resisting harmony of body mind and spirit.  Have confidence to inquire beyond all notions.  Feelings are more intimate than thought. Reflect on what happens as you feel the sound and silent vibration of Tibetan Singing Bowls.

Cat got your tongue?

If you ever lose your voice, you may hear its a punishment you get because you speak too much. You may also hear its an invitation to listen more closely to what others say or leave unsaid.  You may even ask if this figment of the imagination is a result of overthinking.

Among theories offered, people refer to witches in the Middle Ages.  In this Era, behaviour viewed as a threat to the norm was greatly feared, often misunderstood and declared heresy.  Witches, for instance, were put to death.  If you saw some practice that could identify a witch, its said her cat would "steal" or control your tongue so you couldn't report the sighting.  Some people view this as a myth.  You may also hear a Middle Eastern Tale that says liars had their tongues ripped out and fed to royal cats. Thus, varied unique reasons exist for silence.

As you stop focusing on the external and turn instead to feel heartfelt love, you begin to sense another view on selective speech.  Here, the heart echoes spiritually unconscious messages that the body is sending through physical ailments. If you temporarily lose your voice, the heart is drawing attention to  the fear of speaking up balanced with attention on the bliss of silence.  Who is identifying and decoding your story? Its no accident that the tongue is the first thing to emerge from the heart in embryonic development.  All answers stick out.

Listen to the harmony

As you listen closely to the world, you no longer always feel the urge to talk back.  Why is it people are conditioned to be good talkers but not effective listeners? How do you receive what is said? Often, people pay more attention to their inner chatter than what others are saying.

As you begin to truly listen to yourself and the thoughts that pass through the mind, you discover how it feels to sit quietly for hours and appreciate the silence.  Present moment awareness brings your attention away from the business of life.  You have less to discuss.  Pay attention to your conversations.  Notice how often you refer to the past or future. To listen is to absorb wisdom, to hear what is between the words, where the words are coming from, what is expressed in body language, the vibration of the sounds.  You listen with all senses. The present moment reveals all.

As you allow yourself to grow quiet, you let go of all static between the ears.  Listening to the body triggers catharsis.  In essence, you know what is wrong or unbalanced right away.  You sense what the body requires and take action to recify it.  When you feel tired, you rest.  When your body feels ancy, you exercise. When you sense hunger, you eat.  When you sense a full bladder, you relieve it. When you listen to the mind, you know what it wants. As you get in synch with the body, perceived time is irrelevant. If you feel awake late at night, you do not force sleep.  Emotions are also a reliable gauge for how well you listen to inner self.  Deep listeners only know peace, only show love and compassion, and only hear through a lens of complete acceptance.

In essence, give yourself permission to listen to the soul.  Give yourself permission to transcend conditioning.  Compassion and kindness are the silent guides that invite you to listen more deeply to yourself and the world.  When you listen rather than think, your intuitive powers kick in and guide you to gather insight.  Open to trust. Harmony is ever-present. It observes your thoughts.
