Top 9 Things People Desire

In an email survey, I asked willing participants:

"If you could say in one word what you want more of in life, what would that be?"

Among the responses, those desired most are those listed below witha. few highlighted comments. I share my take on these points, and suggest why people often feel can’t get enough of the elusive experiences or states. See which stand out for you.  Leave a comment about your feelings and experience:

1: Happiness

Biggest challenge: “Not knowing what I want to do.”

Many seek to achieve happiness as if its a carrot on the end of s stick, or find it hard to keep once experienced. In my professional work, I’ve seen that happiness often escapes people if (1) they find it hard to define happiness and  2) they are taught the key is external. As a result, happiness is a perpetual moving target.

2: Abundance

Biggest challenge: “Not having enough money or time to accomplish the things I want to do.”

I’ve interested with people of diverse walks of life. In many cases, regardless of what we earn, we somehow feel we never have enough.  The question is: how much money do you really need to feel fulfilled? And what other views on wealth and abundance stand out? if you want more money, do you understand the key principles and behaviors required to generate it? Its important to review your money "story."

3: Freedom

Biggest challenge: “Having the freedom to find my ‘true purpose’ or being lit up by the day-to-day at work.”

Ah, freedom. We all want it, yet so many people I meet are resistant to doing what’s required to get it.

What is necessary to experience freedom? I’ve seen that it requires making yourself right (not wrong), following your own authentic values and beliefs, and building strong boundaries to protect yourself from what others will tell you is right for you or try to force on you. And it takes forging your own path in life and work, despite challenges and rejection. It requires boldness and courage to make yourself your own highest authority.  Connecting with inner passion and commitment are stepping stones to rediscovering freedom.

4: Peace

Biggest challenge: “Lack of clarity about who I am and my purpose.”

We long for peace,. Peace from noise, chatter, pressure, responsibilities. We also want peace from the painful thumping inside our own heads – the conflicts and strain we inflict on ourselves every minute to be better, stronger, smarter (prettier, thinner, better parents, _______ [you fill in the blank]).

Peace, I’ve found, doesn’t come from being better at anything, or even figuring anything out. Attaining peace is a practice that we need to cultivate, regardless of what's going on. We have to carve out space within ourselves and in our lives to tune into peace, do the work to expand peace as a feeling and commit to it. You don’t have to know your purpose to be at peace – you just have to commit to being at peace, and building daily practices.

5: Joy

Biggest challenge: “How to find the right role or position for me now that will bring joy in my work.”

I’ve observed how the process of stepping up to our highest potential and honoring our best visions for contributing to the world in a meaningful way does indeed pave the way for more joy. I believe (and have lived) that we simply can’t feel joy in our lives if the work we do pains us. We’re not able to effectively separate who we are from what we do (and why would we want to?).

So when you’re stuck in work you hate, with people you don’t respect, supporting outcomes that feel wrong to you, then your life as a whole can’t help but be joyless, even if your personal or family life brings you happiness. Joy emerges as you ar authentic and simply be true to yourself.

6: Balance

Biggest challenge: “Balancing my need/desire for flexibility while making enough money and having the benefits I want.”

I’ve researched work-life balance extensively, and believe that it’s doable only under one condition: that you  honour your priorities. It takes understanding your non-negotiables (what you won’t compromise on, what you won’t say “yes” to), and then living from that knowledge, and making the "right" decisions that align with your top life priorities. If you can’t do that, you can’t create or sustain balance.

7: Fulfillment

Biggest challenge: “Utilizing my potential in the best possible way, for myself and for others.”

Fulfillment can be defined as this: “Satisfaction or happiness as a result of fully developing one’s abilities or character.” We simply can’t experience fulfillment if we’re not living up to what we know is our highest and best potential. Have you ever settled for something much less than you know you want or deserve? It hurts – a lot.

It dawns we must leave our comfort zones, and identity, and the stories we tell ourselves about what we’re capable of, so that we can become the person we dream to be. We may also need to leave some people and relationships behind (the ones that don’t support us to soar higher and grow because it threatens them).

Fulfillment is possible when you are filling up your cup, honoring your own potential, not forsaking yourself by putting everyone else in front of you. Fulfillment comes when you take bold actions that say “yes” to the future vision of you, even well before it’s “hatched.”

8: Confidence

Biggest challenge: “Feeling like I have something to offer now, rather than feeling constantly as if I’m not ready and need more training.”

I’ve seen in working with many people and in my former therapy and corporate work, that we humans only see what’s at the tip of our noses. When we’re in situations that are hurtful, demeaning, challenging, we sometimes lose confidence, forget who we are  We're often taught that it's not advisable to think for ourselves, and we shouldn't follow our own path if it conflicts with the values of our "tribe." In short, we're taught not to believe that we can govern our own lives well if we don't listen to our authority figures, family members, teachers and others around us.  that keeps us stuck living someone else's life, is extremely damaging and severely limits our potential and our happiness. Confidence comes from acknowledging our own magnificence.

9: That which we cannot put our finger on

"This is the intangible"

The reality is that it's a tough world out there, with many challenges we're simply not prepared to face. But throughout those challenges, there are countless ways we can remain true to ourselves, leverage our gifts, and foster our self-esteem and passion for life and work. And we can continually build our confidence, happiness, and fulfillment, despite these challenges. For that, we need an abundance of self-love, and also support from others who don't want to tell us what to do, but instead, want to help us follow our own, internal value system and beliefs. And we need to believe in ourselves without fail, despite the evidence around us that says we’re not “ready” to soar in creating what we long to.

13 Steps to Restore Creative Sexual Power

Much information circulates about the nature of creative sexual power, societal misunderstandings, misuse and exploitation of sexual energy. Heavy emotions like fear, shame and guilt can hijack attention away from the original purpose of the human womb and also what it has the potential to birth from this moment.  Imagine the power of womb can birth or manifest anything. It is the channel between non-physical and physical realms.

This article invites not necessarily celibacy or extreme indulgence. Its about creative sexual power as an expression of love.  Many carry mental, psychological and energetic wounds (especially related to the bottom three chakras- root, sacral, solar plexus). These wounds stem from events their own lives and sometimes energetic residue from unresolved ancestral wounds as overlays.

The state of creative sexual power is also felt in collective human consciousness.  Many men and women are shifting energetically. Some are outgrowing relationships and unconscious behaviours.  People often ask how they can restore or replace what was lost or forgotten, tap into untapped energy,  how they can revitalize or redirect sexual power in different endeavours. This is about consciously accessing the ultimate source of creation.

It is important to recongize that both men and woman have energetic wombs from which they have the power to create amazing things. This can relate to children, but also relates to the power of manifesting on many other levels widely forgotten or overlooked.

Consider 12 ways you can explore how to restore and expand from creative sexual power:

1. Return to innocence

This is about focusing on the right or "soulful" relationship with source. Know that your sexual energy is a life force energy that is under your conscious stewardship. You decide where to direct it, what you are creating. Decide that how you use it flows in alignment with your Higher Self and heartfelt truth.

2.  Grow aware of external programs

This includes societal, cultural, religious, familial, romantic and other. The original notion of true pleasure and power arises in using creative sexual power to bring one into unity with the creator within.

3. Regard the womb as your temple.

We often hear the body is your temple. Tune into the belly button and pelvic area.  Use breath, touch, prayer and spiritual practices to recognize the womb space as sacred. Close your eyes. Place your hand on your belly.  Remind yourself how it feels as the belly rises and falls. You channel life energy into the world via every breath.

4. Clear past lovers' trauma and implants

This can be done with intention, sound, support, community circles and spiritual practices.  This can be helped by immersing in nature, reconnecting with Gaia, revisiting the meanings of divine symbols.

5. Heal scalar shields

Perform meditations and focus attention on the areas of concern. This often involves healing sacral and heart distortions in the energy fields. This can be part of a soul retrieval process that helps align soul fragments stuck in past experiences of trauma loops. This is about inviting whole Oversoul self to hold space for repatterning.

6. Reclaim your Womb

This is about reversing soul contracts, attachments, severing energetic cords to past partners that are no longer aligned, and facing dark shadows with love and light.

7. Burn dependency templates and false projections

Sometimes we find ourselves in destructive, co-dependent or narcissistic situations. To grow aware of this is part of awakening. Shifting your paradigm requires an understanding of your whole being, why patterns arise and how to heal yourself to transcend them. Holistic healing approaches regard everything as frequency alignment or misalignment. Watch priorities shift.

8. Returning to the body innocence without an agenda

Allow sensuality to be a dance, a prayer of the sacred, to not see it as a performance with expectations.  Body movement, breathwork, plant medicine, holistic therapies offer ways that can help release shame-based programming. Use discernment with facilitators.

9. Unite pleasure with the heart

Come to see arousal or orgasm are not separate from heartfelt presence. This is about staying in the physical body. Speak words of truth and trust during consenusal sexual exploration. Watch what happens as every sexual experience arises from a torus of coherence within yourself. This builds a sense of safety and security.

10. Stop leaking life force in porn and emotionally unavailable partners.

You can grow more aware of the nature and stimulus of your sexual arousal. Are you numbing out from anything? Is how you channel sexual creative energy unconscious? Learn to seal your auric field energy after encounters. Withdraw energy from distorted grids. use discernment and maturity to make choices that are inalignment with your soul rather than ego-driven intentions and desires.

11. Pray befpre pleasure.

This is not related to religious doctrine. It is about being in touch with yourself, feelingcomforatble gazing into the eyes of your partner, sharing your true feelings and not sharing your body with just anyone on a whim. Call in the soul and oversoul before a sexual encounter. If it resonates, grow familiar with base 12 techniques. Seal the field. Recognize that when you enter into intimate communion with someone, this act is also about connecting and healing the Earth on an energetic level.

12.  Speak about needs and attarction without shame on more than a superficial level.

Whether celebate or in conscious intimate union with another, erotic truth is spoken and clearly understood as an act of planetary recalibration. Its not a personal ego-driven experience we create or pursue out of self interest. It helps to have an understanding of the soulful meaning of the 7 "enemies "( pride, greed, wrath, envy, lust, gluttony, and sloth) and their counterparts. Move beyond distorted perception of human incarnation. Only then can one move beyond the reincarnation loop and understand the bigger picture.

13. Create your own pleasure codes.

State what you will and will not allow into your life, what you will no longer tolerate and what you are inviting. You could create a a personal prayer to direct or redirect personal creative sexual energy. This is about recognizeing you are your own source of wisdom, allowing or resisting. It is about reclaiming sovereignty, control over your body-mind and what you accept. It is about understanding the root of fear. You could decide that all acts of harnessing and directing creative sexual power are light activiations to heal earth. Define coherence as alignment in thought, word and action.

3 Tips to initiate Higher Dimensional Shifts

Many people will ask for advice regarding shifting their life conditions. Here are 3 tips:

1) Grow aware you feel stuck in the material world.

3D consciousness is about seeing things purely from a self-centred, physical state. It keeps you in a fear-(ego) based vibration of survival, competition, neediness, lack. It perpetuates illusions of separation and recurrent obstacles may appear out of self-doubt. Be willing to dive deeper.

2) Accept that more exists beyond the physical.

4D is the bridge between 3D and 5D realms.  You begin to recognize more exists to the world than only the physical. You grow aware of and begin to heal unconscious traumas, get in touch with a spectrum of repressed energies such as anger and grief and encounter mid-life crisis, life unravelling or a Dark Night of the Soul.  You seek a deeper purpose and tune into emerging supernatural abilities. You choose to live a healtheir life, yet may still oscillate between 3D and 4D vibes.

3) Tune into a more expanded purpose

5D is when you feel more deeply connected with and integrate versions of your fragemented self. You also tune into a higher purpose to serve.   Intuition is your pilot and compassion and love are  your reliable guides. You let go of judgment and know each being is on a unique journey.  You shift from the vibration of gratitude to that of trust and appreciation surrendering to divine will.

While on Earth, people live in a vibration of 3D, 4D, %D or a combination of the vibrations, moving in and out based on evolution of consciousness. This is not about physical spaces but metaphysical states of energy.

10 Pointers that you might be a Shaman

I feel grateful to the shamans who saw themselves in me and helped me understand why I have always felt like I don’t belong in mainstream medicine. The intention of this article is to Respectfully Honor the Shamanic tradition.
As modern culture doesn’t have a role for the Shamanic archetype, many people who grow up outside indigenous villages are shamans and don’t know it. Many are drawn to mainstream healing professions, such as medicine, psychology, or life coaching. But some wind up in professions where they may feel like they don’t fit. Even those who enter the healing professions may come to feel out of place, because the systems of Western medicine and psychology leave little room for a shaman to practice his or her natural healing art. But many will wind up in various forms of sacred activism, healing the planet, for example, rather than only healing people.  The shamanic calling is more expansive than healing individuals.
Are you a shaman and you don’t know it? Reflect on these 10 points that may rock your world
(origially shared by Milton Foster)
1. You sense that you’re meant to participate in the global shift in consciousness that is currently underway.
We can all feel it, this impending shift that New Agers have talked about for decades. But those with the shamanic archetype don’t just feel it, they feel it pulling them, like a magnet, towards leadership positions that help facilitate this transformation of human consciousness and evolution of the species.
2. You’ve been through a difficult initiation, which has prepared you for this leadership role.
In indigenous cultures, the village knew who the shaman was because he or she was struck by lightning and survived. In modern culture, you may not literally be struck by lightning, but you may have survived some other life or heart-threatening ordeal. You may have experienced childhood abuse, sexual violence, a near-death experience, or some other trauma that put you through the crucible and forged you into the healing earth shaman you are.
3. You are an introvert.
Shamans are multi-dimensional beings who dance between the realms of the seen and unseen worlds, so if you’re of the shamanic archetype, you may have a hard time navigating the 3D realms of this dimension, which may cause you to withdraw into yourself so you can visit the realms of consciousness where you feel most at home.
4. You feel most at home in nature.
The shamans of a culture are the bridges between nature and humans, serving as translators between the mountains, oceans, rivers, animals, and people. You may sense that nature is talking to you or that you get your most tuned in downloads when you are surrounded by the natural world.
5. You’re very sensitive.
You may feels things others don’t feel, see things others don’t see, hear things others don’t hear, smell things others don’t smell, and sense things others don’t sense. This may make it hard for you to be out in public, where you may feel accosted by over-stimulation of your senses. If you embody the shamanic archetype, it’s likely that you’re the kind of person others may feel is “too sensitive.” But this sensitivity is a blessing. It’s part of your gift.
6. You feel a sort of spiritual calling to ease the suffering of people, animals, and nature.
Many health care providers are called to medicine the way priests are called to the priesthood. But you don’t have to be a health care provider to have the shamanic archetype. It may transmute itself into healing service to animals, sacred activist causes, or conservation of Mother Earth.
7. Physical ailments that fall under the category of “shaman sickness.”
In the indigenous cultures, shamans who have been called to service but haven’t yet said “yes” to the call often wind up struck with physical ailments. In modern culture, these shamanic sicknesses may fall into difficult to treat categories like chronic fatigue syndrome, fibromyalgia, chronic Lyme disease, chronic pain disorders, and autoimmune disorders. Acceptance of the call to shamanic service often resolves the symptoms of shaman sickness. If you’re suffering from one of these illnesses, ask yourself, “Am I a shaman who hasn’t said yes to my calling yet?”
8. You tend to have vivid dreams.
The unseen realm may be communicating with you through your dreams, so try analyzing your dreams. Pay particular attention to any animal totems that may appear in your dreams. Google search the animal and “spirit totem” and see if you can find any messages from the animals in your dreams. Or try a Jungian analysis, like the one described here.
9. You may discover unusual spiritual superpowers, or what the yogis call “siddhis.”
You might be psychic. You might get healing visions like the one in my previous post about the meeting of Western medicine and Shamanism. You might realize that you can heal people with your hands or that you can telepathically communicate with animals, people, or even inanimate objects.
10. You’ve always felt like you don’t quite belong anywhere, because you are a worldbridger.
Shamans tend to live on the outskirts of the village for a reason. They are not like the others – and this is a blessing! If you feel you do not fit into a particular environment, this is a nudge to embrace a calling.

Beauty

Notice the beauty we see in the external inspires us to recognize inner light. Radiant inner beauty arises from soul growth or expansion of consciousness through experiences and timelines. We share love, hugs , insight through the ethers and generations. As one is more and more meditative, peaceful, a deep unity with existence happens. One aligns with the rhythm or heartbeat of natue and the universe. Our heartbeat, aligned with the universal, awakens authentic humanity. At a pivotal moment, the divine reveals itself.
