Redefining true responsibility

Many views exist on responsibility. Some feel taking it is key, others prefer to avoid related discomfort, pain. A part of you would argue taking responsibility is like taking control of life. Yet what is really under our control?

Society distorts things. We are taught being responsible is doing what we are told by our elders (parents, teachers, mentors), and being irresponsible is acting from our perception of individual needs. The mistaken fear often adopted is if we act spontaneously, this will be like avoiding social, family and cultural responsibilities on our shoulders. In fact, this is a huge misunderstanding or way our minds are manipulated away from truth.

In truth, response is possible only if you are spontaneous, act in the moment, now. Response means that your attention, awareness, consciousness, is fully present. Come what may,  respond with your whole being. It is not a question of being in tune with anyone else, some holy scripture, or some imagined personality. It simply means to be in tune with the present moment.

This ability to respond in the here and now, based on feelings at present is responsibility, another term that silently refers to meditation.  This is a forgotten secret. Remembering and putting this into practice changes how you relate to yourself and the world.

7 Ways to work with the Law of Cause and Effect

Notice the universal law of cause and effect states that every action in the universe produces an equal and opposite reaction.  Some call this flow of energy "karma."  Others claim karma does not exist.  Reflect on 7 Ways to work with the Law of Cause and Effect.  Be honest...how are you travelling?

1.     Identify heavy energy

Be clear on the nature of your actions and their consequences that lock you in undesirable circumstances.  This requires making the unconscious, conscious and integrating the soul teachings. Be aware where you feel stuck or stagnant and reflect on the obstacles.

2.     Distance from incompatible people & situations

Life is complicated by those who are unable or unwilling to change.  Create distance from relationships that drain you.  Discover how much lighter you feel.  Stress will go away that was not yours to begin with.

3.     Be accountable to yourself

Once you recognize where you went astray, you are empowered to shift patterns.  Energy shifts in new directions.  Examine your past choices. Recognize making newer, more conscious choices is now.

4.     Do what nourishes your spirit

To feel drawn to something deep within you is to know intuitively this path is meant to revitalize you.  Focus energy on what makes you feel useful and valuable, allow it to nurture you.  One avenue is using dreams as a tool to get in touch with deeper meaning and life diractions. Contact us about dream work and our Astral, Lucid & Dream Yoga Course.

5.     View vulnerabilities as strengths

See that apparent weaknesses or patterns are teachers and pointers to resilience and opportunities for soul growth.  Be open to power of an open heart, how this profoundly connects you to deep truth.

6.     Take responsibility

Follow intuition to modify behaviours that are not serving you and the greater good.  Accept that we cannot change others, only how we respond.  Let go of old ways or behaviours that you outgrow.  Take the process of   personal responsibility to a whole new level. Be bold, daring! Join our 3 month Radical Responsibility course.

7.     Practice Gratitude

The energy of gratitude lifts us out of the vibration of stuckness or negative energy.  This focuses us instead in the creative flow so we can concentrate on allowing the blessings and talents of who we are to flow, rather than attempting to fix illusions of who we are not.

Dream Analysis of the Week- Relationship Change

Dream:

I thought i was going on a romantic island getaway with my partner yet had mixed minds about it. Instead, we found ourselves on a luxury yacht with hot tubs and spas in different rooms and were told by ship captain that the trip was going around islands in circles near the horizon with people we did not know. My middle sister showed up with a duffle bag full of white fluffy towels and put it on a big bed.  I went up on deck, saw a lifeboat tied to the side and jumped in. I started rowing toward a portal that opened in the ocean. As I passed through it, time stopped. I saw my children were playing next to neighbours at a park on a white fluffy cloud. My boat suddenly turned into a hot air balloon. I landed on the floating world and the kids climbed in.  We lifted off, flew in a new direction.  Another portal opened.  I navigated the balloon through.

Insight:

Relationship change on the horizon. The definitive decision is yours. Its clear your current personal life is not taking you where you wish to go.  You may feel unforeseen burdens by circumstances beyond your control.  Water and spas echo your emotions or empathy toward others. You might be overly sensitive and would benefit from freeing yourself from taking on other people's energies. Remind yourself you consciously define your own frequency. Making a conscious move to become the captain of your own ship would expedite a rapid change of energy and scenery. You may recall energy of doing it before.

On another level, this is about re-adjusting templates of energy and recalibrating personal energies to align with inner wisdom you are ready to share. You may sense an urgency to shift or a sense of 'time running out' in order to prompt you to shift into your soul role. The quickening you feel echoes you are really have (and are in) 'no-time'. Pressure you place on yourself to be more authentic is helping highlight and let go of illusions that already served their purpose.

A lifeboat echos your ongoing spiritual journey is offering an exciting mixture of possibilities as you move forward. This includes switching timelines and dimensions according to the nature of your vibration. As you recall more of your true power, there is no choice only being in alignment. Lucid dreaming is a tool we can use to consciously move into dream yoga and new scenarios in waking life in ways that reflect our true nature. What would activate your own inner magic?

Fluffy clouds tend to represent peace and harmony. You are not only moving toward but also know what this really feels like. The true playground is unlimited, a holographic reality like the holodeck of the Starship Enterprise of Star Trek. Tune into your inner child.  Allow light-hearted feelings to guide you to the best course. Let Soul be your pilot. The moment arises to intuitively move beyond, reframe or rise above difficult life situations. Changes are definintely in process.  The direction you go from here is up to the degree you are willing to take radical responsibility, trust and surrender to the unknown.  To face oneself is to observe without judgement.

1. Make choices based on what’s actually true, rather than what you think should be true.

  • Listen to how you feel in this moment-be aware of signs, signals, sensations as pointers.

  • Tune into the heart vibration and rhythm of the breath. To feel calm or rattled is a reliable guide.

2. Assert and reinforce your feelings, needs, boundaries, requests.

  • Be aware of when someone attempts to talk you out of your feelings
  • See everything as an opportunity to trust yourself more

3. Own your choices and visions. Don't blame others or the external.

  • Know you are who you are because of all your experiences

  • See the lesson or blessing in all situations whihc you create for yourself to grow

4. Honor personal power of others.

  • Treat them as whole, creative and resourceful rather than needy

  • See your role is to allow others to make their own choices rather than control them

5. Filter for present-moment thinking

  • Be aware of tense of language spoken

  • Let go of thoughts of past or future

6. Focus on what's in your control

  • Focus on yourself and your responses to the external

  • Accept what is within your power and reach

7. Be radically honest with yourself and your values

  • Be aware that every choice has consequences

  •  Do not go along with others simply its easier (recall Dumbledore: "The time comes Harry, when w must choose between what is right and what is easy.")

8. Practice your ability to respond to your emotions, sensations, and thoughts in useful ways

  • Validate your truth, intuition, signs and signals from within you

  • Meditate to sharpen subtle senses

9. Practice self-compassion: treat yourself with kindness and grace

  • Set realistic standards
  • Love yourself, your choices & inclinations

10. Take action. Action is reciprocal with confidence. Don't stay stuck because you're unsure or the path is unclear. Take a step forward.

Taking responsibility is not what you think

Notice at any given moment, to take responsibility for our lives, we must be vigilent of our actions. This implies we recognize if what we do is simply a means to an end, we are not present in what we do. If moving from point A to point B and only focused on the destintation, its easy to get impatient, stressed, imagine being somewhere else, be unfocused, not enjoy where we are. If the mindset is "I'd rather be (elsewhere)," then happiness is short-lived or even bypassed altogether. That's not responsible through the lens of the soul or expanded being.
Many people are taught that taking responsibility relates to self-care, "growing up", becoming financially independent, self-reliant. These traits have a place. Still, in many cases this involves developing a serious nature, forgetting spontaneity. The feeling of presence and awareness is widely overlooked.
In truth, taking responsibility for our life is about how we perform actions. If most of our actions and behaviours are a means to an end, then we feel heavy, drained, tired. We may work hard and get results, but we cannot enjoy it if mind is elsewhere. That implies living a life of low quality, unfulfilled, sad. We lack presence if we are always talking about the next moment which we think will somehow be better. If it prevents us from being here now, is it worth it?
High quality of life implies its not the quantity that determines the value of our life. What we own, how many people we advise, control or influence, how many subscribers or followers we have, none of that determines high quality of life. Quality time is quality attention with people, depth of conversation, soulful focus. Quality of life suggests we find blessings and joy in the moment.
Regardless of where we are and what is unfolding in our midst, when we can give our full attention to what we do and who we are with, this creates a 'high quality of life.' That is, when every action in our lives, large and small has a certain aliveness and presence, we savour it. It does not feel like a chore to do what we do. We do not feel resistance, impatience or irritation. At the perfect moment, it dawns negativity and dense vibration simply strengthen that false sense of self.
Ultimately, even if we continue to do what we have been doing, and our external conditions do not change right away, as we are mindful and begin to remove resistance patterns within us, that is the complaining, the negativity, irritation, the focus on depression about the past or anxiety of the future, life is completely transformed on the inside. On the outside, it may seem nothing has changed.  Yet inwardly, we know everything has.
