Keep nothing in mind

Notice what happens if you allow thoughts of what is right for you to limit your experience. The inner judge is active. Resistance, restlessness, impatience and disharmony are a focus.

As awareness grows, you see inner conflict only arises as you compare or exert effort to control. If this has not crossed your mind, its because thinking has nothing to do with it.

Notice what happens as you feel all is well and keep nothing in mind.  In this state of being, you appreciate everything as it is and see the beauty in it all. Intuition is the rudder and joy is the pilot. This is experienced as mindfulness.   Relish the sun rises and sets. Cherish all that is in between. At any moment, feel what happens as you no longer feel the urge to choose.

3 Friendly reminders

Here are a few friendly reminders to help you raise awareness to new levels:

1)If you notice naysayers about something you would like to do, then a spark of self-doubt in your mind has created them.  They are a living mirror that invites you to look at the real issue inside. They point to what you are not accepting.

2) Noise doesn't disturb; you disturb noise.  You allow the external world to press your buttons to bring anger to the surface so you feel, acknowledge and release it.

3) Everything invites you to see the right thing to do is love. Be kind and also compassionate with yourself. Being compassionate with others is the same thing.

Connections are emerging

All around and within you, connections are emerging to reveal you are exactly where you are meant  to be.  Notice confirmations and synchronicity.  They all point to the same thing.

Try to make something perfect and it remains imperfect. Do what comes naturally and it is always perfect. Nature is perfect; effort is imperfect. When you struggle and strive, you overlook what is natural.  Call it selective awareness or amnesia.  You block deeper seeing.  As the mind stops talking a mile a minute, you stop. Realize something is feeding it.  That which feeds the fire, or keeps the mind noise going, also prevents you from seeing beyond it.

Brace yourself: You fuel the fire.  In essence, your attention, belief or identity is the fuel from the egoic mind.  This said, all fires go out without fuel.   You can observe without being consumed by drama. Recognize you can be strong without the mind but the mind cannot be strong without you.  The mind itself is pointing to what you do not yet see about yourself.

Meditation invites true seeing to emerge.  Bring the attention back to what you cannot be, what no  longer makes sense to your life experience.  Verify.  Confirm what you are and are not.  Notice what is settled inside.  Notice the nature of awareness.  Where are you looking from?  Who are you looking as?  Solve the mystery that keeps you from satisfaction.  Be at the place where the seeing arises from.  Something is watching the coming and going, the transitions and changes in your life.  This is the source of innate wisdom you are seeking.

Release the thoughts

Everything you think helps or hinders innate ability to see things as they are.  Thoughts arise on four levels relating to ; a) the body, b) the mind, c) the soul and, d) the invisible realm.  Watch what happens as you realize that thoughts are impermanent and release them.  Holding on to them keeps you from seeing clearly.  Notice what it feels like to be at peace with and without thoughts.

1) Open the heart to all that can be known. Be receptive. Be aware that you are the only thing that stands in your way. Let go of doubt, fear and all that blocks panoramic views.

2) Practice discernment. As you cease mistaking the mind for Self, pain, pleasure, and suffering no longer exert a hold over you.  Accept it allwith grace. Joy is ever-present.

3) Notice when you confuse the Seer for the seen. To identify with the external is to judge, be drawn into emotion, illusions of ownership and power. This confuses a road map with the road.  Attain mastery of the senses.  Allow being true to self as if its the first time.

4) Look with the inner eyes. Perceive all the conditioned mind misses. Lose your fascination with the body. Be open to the Spirit within. Know the mind and physical world arise only because you dream them up. Be aware of how it feels to penetrate deeper into the essence of being.

5) Identify with your True Self. This is infinite, knows no boundaries, observes where thoughts take form and sees through the games the mind plays.   True Self is grounded in peace and is unaffected by external events.

Have a happy mind

Many experiences are universal yet, must be discovered and rediscovered by each of us at our own pace.  We allow wisdom to reveal itself through us when we are ready and willing to accept it.  We each weave our own tapestry of life by making choices. How to maintain a happy mind?

1) Break free of the traps of the mind: Let go of the past, stop focusing attention on fear and the future. This releases you from ties binding you to karma/ family histories (recover the 'original self'). As identities are seen as the masks they are and shed, personal histories shrink and fade.

2) Be aware of and let go of attachment to inner possessions; judgments, thoughts, values, and ideas about right and wrong.  Notice everyone is a teacher pointing to existing contentment.

3) Break free of the traps of the body/ impermanent world. Thinking about doing anything is the hard part. Notice how the mind stalls and postpones things. Taking action itself is easy.

4) Explore the true nature of freedom & what it means to be 'liberated in life.' Notice you deny the ultimate freedom. You only step beyond parameters after you create them and grow aware.

5) Bring together the elements of a fragmented existence.  Each person who is open and receptive grows aware of an inner pilgrimmage and unique experiences with Spirit.

6) Be here in this present moment in mindfulness and kindness.

"Renounce the self that does the renunciation." -Swami Venkatesananda
